Stopped at upperline for a late romantic dinner based on the recommendation of a local tour guide. We were not disappointed.

A wonderful assortment of some of Louisiana's greatest dishes! The duck etouffee, turtle soup, gumbo, and fried tomatoes were everything you hoped they would be and more. The food is amazing and worth every penny.

This place is fantastic! Do yourself a favor and get out of the French Quarter for a trip to the Garden District. The Taste of New Orleans seven favorites tasting dinner is a must try. Enjoy!

We visited Upperline on. Sunday evening, having never eaten there before. Boy were we bowled over. Our wonderful evening began with a warm greeting by the owner, followed by attentive service from the wait staff and the food was fabulous. We each had a salad to begin and they were both really tasty.

The owner is so adorable and happy to see anyone that comes in. When I told her we were new in town, she gave us a printed list of her favorite places. So cute. Also the service and food were excellent. We got the New Orleans platter and it was the perfect amount of samples of local cuisine.

What a fantastic restaurant. The owner is there every night and she greets everyone as they arrive, dine, and leave. The space is beautiful with tons of art on the walls. The food is phenomenal with many out of this world selections. Try the oysters and the duck.
