I love Jane's. I've been ordering here for years and though I've always thought the food is great, I think it may be even better since they reopened. I've tried several seafood dishes from here from soft shell crabs to grilled shrimp salad and I'm yet to be disappointed. Right now my favorite is the crawfish fried rice and fried bananas on the side. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. They are a bit on the pricey side in my opinion but well worth the money if I know I will enjoy it.

Fried rice was the best I've had in years. Beef with broccoli is the measuring stick I use to compare Chinese restaurants with and Janes was very good!
All around great place! From the service to the food. Gumbo is awesome, the stuffed shrimp are amazing and the drinks are delectable!! The entire staff is friendly and creates a positive experience :)
DELICIOUS!!!. Had the fried won tons, bite sized catfish, egg rolls, boneless chicken, and pork fried rice...taste and quality of ingredients was excellent.

Crawfish were GREAT !. Was invited by our hosts organizing the "Acadiana Dragon Boat Festival". I've had crawfish a half-dozen times while visiting Louisiana and these were the best so far. Company was great and service was good too. A must if you're in New Iberia during crawfish season.
Boiled seafood is pretty good. Lomein is one of the best in new iberia.
The Best Boiled Seafood. Jane's Seafood has the best boiled crawfish in the New Iberia area. Always big and seasoned to perfection. The boiled crabs are also excellent. The egg rolls are yummy, but pass on their fried shrimp.. all breading. Stick with the boiled seafood and you won't be disappointed. The staff is friendly and the service is great.
Husband loves the egg rolls and said boiled shrimp were well done. Boiled crawfish were lacking flavor. Definitely not what I am used to. Would not recommend the boiled crawfish.
Good Stuff. I really like the egg rolls and chicken lo mein. Always delish.

We love Jane's!!! My family eat there regularly. The boiled shrimp, egg drop soup and the fried bananas are my favorite. Convenient, cozy and delicious!
The best seafood in town and the best Chinese food in town!! Love it! We always get the Kung pao shrimp and fried rice. Wish they would open for lunch also.
This is the best place in town for seafood. The boiled shrimp are so fresh and delicious it is to die for. Also the boiled crabs that we always order are always full and yummy. I've purchased boiled crabs from alot of other places that have wither been empty or dead. You never get any of those at janes. Such a wonderful place to have dinner if you are wanting some seafood. Also they have Chinese food if u don't like seafood.
Great boiled seafood of all types but the thing that is very interesting about this place is it's not just "Cajun" style seafood. They also have Chinese food on the menu that is very good as well! Doesn't sound like it works together but it just does. Check this place out. Good food.
The charbroiled oysters were great! I then had one of the specials, 2 Dungeness crabs and 1/2 a pound of boiled shrimp for $19.95 wow was it some kind of good! I sat at the bar and Brian was excellent as always. This is my favorite place to eat in New Iberia!
I must say I was impressed! I am in town on some out-of-town work. Jane's was recommended by one of my local colleagues that lives in the area as far as good seafood is concerned. I ordered a bowl of gumbo along with an appetizer of charbroiled oysters. I was quite pleased with how it was seasoned. I can't complain about the service, it exceeded my expectations given how busy they were on a Saturday night. The portion sizes were great! There are a variety of options to choose from but not too much to where it's overwhelming! All and all, it was a great experience!
If you want delicious Cajun food, and you are around New Iberia, La., This is a must stop place. The drinks will have you dancing like the crawfish when they hit the boiling water. The crawfish were so good the butter came out with the tail. I didn't even need to suck them. The crab claws didn't pinch. They slid right off the cartilage and the dipping sauce added to the flavor. The vibe was laid back and chill too.
This is one of those place that if a local person doesn't tell you about you probably will not find it. I am sure glad that a local person told me about it. Easley in the top 5 boiled crawfish restaurants. The crawfish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Has the charbroiled oysters and they were the best I have ever eaten. Do yourself a favor and go here, you will not regret it.
There is a reason this place is so popular—-bc it is so good. Crawfish were perfect, Charbroiled Oysters damn good down to the chargrilled bread, shrimp and corn bisque makes me want cold weather to return because it was that comforting, and the etouffe is in the top of its class, I’m certain.
fantastic crawfish! had the pounds and some red potatoes as well. a bite of the catfish and ettouffe was fantastic as well....

Got one of the healthier meals, grilled fish and shrimp. Pretty delicious! Table of 6, 2 martinis, 4 beers and 6 meals, $120, no boiled seafood, but man were the soft shell crabs huge and delicious! Great food, great service!
