Let’s start with appetizers and then move onto to main course to a perfect plate. Tonight’s dinner at Afghan Grill @ Hillside was amazing. The #Manto and Chicken #Kebab was cooked to perfection😘🙌🏽. Tender, juicy. The yogurt sauce was too good. I asked for recipe 🤣but the waitress wasn’t willing to share. A family friendly place for satisfying meal. Will be back.
The bill came around $90.00 w/o tip for 4 people. Used my Venture X card, forgot to take the Wells Fargo dinning card for 3% cash back.

Now I'm not am Afghan food expert but if you're looking for a flavor blast in your taste buds - this is a great spot for it!
The sambosa was crispy and filled with an excellently seasoned ground beef and veggies. The green sauce also added tons of flavor (I believe this sauce is cilantro-based).
The tikka lamb kebab was fantastic. The meat was juicy, grilled, and seasoned. The rice was also very soft and tasty.
I will definitely be returning to try other menu items!

This was a great place to eat. Food was mouth-wateringly good. And the sauces and yogurt that comes with the meals makes for a delicious combination of authentic Afghan spices. I highly recommend the stews!

Went to dinner with my girlfriends. The food is always good here. The staff is friendly and explain the food well. I remember coming here when I was pregnant and having the lamb shank. It was falling off the bone, tender and delicious. I would highly recommend it.
I tried the stew chicken this time and it honestly wasnt my favorite thing. However, the lamb kebob was great and the rice was perfectly cooked. I do wish the waitress had checked in on us a little more often. We ran out of water and few times and had to find her to get help.

The Afghan Grill is beloved by locals for the friendly waitstaff, the homey atmosphere and the delicious food which is mostly kebab and stews served with light salads and sauces. All of my friends love the homemade ice cream and baklava

A wonderful place to take the family for a tasty, traditional family-style experience. The staff is super polite and the food is authentic. I had the lamb shank with rice and raisins and all the spicy chutney and about three appetizers beforehand.
No liquor served, but you can bring your own. Also, no coffee---pretty light on beverages, come to think of it; they did have bottled iced tea and some others

I visited this place! Price was excellent! Taste different than everything I have tried! Love the place! We came with 5 kids from ages of 1-6 and the staff was very helpful and nice with them.

I ordered 2 chicken kebabs, one with qabili and another with zereshk. The rice was pretty good and they gave more than enough sauce but the chicken was a little less than I expected. It came with nice fresh salad. My critique is the bread was just a flat pita bread and not the traditional afghan bread I am accustomed to. The staff was very friendly and the firni (rice pudding) was good.

I can’t get over my delicious meal. I took more home to eat again later! Every dish we ordered was delicious and we will definitely be back. The cherry on top of our dinner was the service. My family felt like we were at home with the love we received from the owners! One of our new favorites.

Wonderful experience, the food is authentic Afghani, super flavorful- all the appetizers were beautiful especially the light crispy Samosas. Wish we had ordered the homemade icecream, looked incredible.

I have been coming here for over 10 years - the quality is always high, even during the pandemic - Angela is the owner and she always makes sure everything is fresh and that we are satisfied - it is BYOB and the food is always delicious

Just ate here with my wife and wow, the food was amazing. The Lamb Shank was my favorite and the Chapli was crispy and fresh. We will be coming back soon
