Fran's Pub

Paytn was an excellent server! She knew the menu well and was cheerful to talk with and ensured to ask if we needed beverages refilled. The strawberry margarita was a perfectly blended cocktail. Order it all, pierogies, hot turkey sandwich, rigatoni with vodka, and BBQ pork sandwich, delicious. The BBQ and rigatoni were excellent. Wee bit cold in the restaurant. Although, we've been spoiled and now the cooler nights came up on us cooling everything down. We will be back.

I like the food and staff. I have seen customers bring their dog(s) to their table on the patio and I am find with it. As long as they are outside should not be a problem. If anyone is afraid of getting pet hair in their food because someone's dog is near them, the same thing can happen if a dog is walking by on a windy day. Not all dog shed a lot, but some do. I don't know what the policy is at Fran's, but I have seen a lot of people bring their dog into the Ferry Street Market. Inside there's a chance of dog hair building up, so I don't think the dogs should be allowed to be inside. So people have allergies to dogs. I love dogs and cats, but I think there are some places they should not be allowed to come.

Visit Date: September 4, 2023 New Hope, PA is one of my happy places. Since discovering it in 2021 with a guy I was seeing/turned friend after he ended things I've tried to get back here as much as possible. It's not a bad drive from Long Island. For some people a two to three hour drive is a bit much, but I drive a lot and I'm fine with the drive. So I went back on September 4 with a bunch of friends. I've been here with people and I've come alone. I like doing both. Everyone picked Fran's Pub to eat in so once I parked my car in the usual lot I park in we walked over to the pub. It's an old school/local pub with a lot of seating. I chose to have the BLT. I'm doing slightly better with money now, not great but a little better because I got money refunded for a flight that I cancelled. But during this time I wasn't sure about the flight refund and I was pretty much almost broke. Technically with the amount of debt I have I am pretty broke no matter what until I work to pay it down. The BLT was good, a nice amount of bacon, lettuce, tomato and Mayo. I think the chips they served were homemade. They were amazing about letting us hang out at the pub for a few hours. There was a group of us so maybe because it was a sort of large order they didn't mind. My one friend didn't want to be outside much because it was brutally hot and my other friend has bad knees and doesn't want to walk around. So 3 out of 5 of us in the group stayed in the pub. My other friend and I walked out after leaving our share of money for what we ate to go to Terri's gifts because I like to stop there when I visit New Hope as well. I would recommend this pub for a New Hope Visit.

My boyfriend and I have eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed. Service is wonderful, drink and menu variety are wonderful as well. We love the calamari, and any of the sandwich options. Fran's has a phenomenal atmosphere and is great for people watching. We LOVE the outdoor area. I've never really ventured inside (maybe once or twice), but I do appreciate they have the same Yuengling Puppy Poster that I do. I love the consistency of Fran's.

drinks at the indoor bar were amazinggggg. you have the option to play pool indoors too. the staff is respectful and will chat with you if you want (depending on how busy it is) i had one bill isssue but the owner was super quick to resolve it. the food is good for bar food, def recommended getting nachos/fries/mozzarella sticks for the table. will be back soon :)
