Carter's Cantina

First time ordering. Sad to say I was not impressed. Ordered chicken enchilada and chicken fajita with side of queso for carry out. This totaled $37.10. I was asked if I wanted my change, which I found off-putting. The chicken was dry, both meals. The take out box had a pool of what looked like grease at the bottom. Underneath my refried beans was a weird looking hard brown thing that didn’t resemble food at all, but too late because I already ate most of them. The queso was almost flavorless and for what I paid, a small 6oz cup seemed more cheesy than the queso itself. Other than the young lady asking me if I wanted my change back, she was nice enough. The restaurant itself was small, but at a glance looked clean. No ambiance at all; just corrugated metal walls. Don’t believe I’ll be returning. Not worth it. Bummer.

This is the first time we have eaten here. Had delivered from grub hub. This was possibly the worst Mexican food, I have ever eaten. My family agrees also. Rice is yellow rice probably out of a box and flavored with a strong seasoning. Carne asada Street tacos is awful. Not even steak. Not sure what the meat is. Carnitas awful and bland. We spent $55 dollars. Never again. We didn't eat anything. This is not authentic Mexican food. Go to Mexican Town in Detroit..if you want good food. It's worth the drive.
