I've been going to Vito's since the mid-80s, when the law firm I was messenger at introduced me to them (I used to go several times a day to pick-up orders for the lawyers and their meetings.) I am going to miss those subs and salads SO SO SO much. Thank you Vito's for all of the delicious food over the years! Best wishes in your retirements! Well deserved! (but sad for New Haven foodies!)

My favorite sandwich shop since my late teens. ROAST BEEF Russian slaw sub is the BOMB! Never ate subway or any other sandwich chain again. Update: I'm so sad that they never reopened since the pandemic. There will never be any other sandwich shop that will compare to Vito's.

This is a great no-nonsense sandwich shop in downtown. A lot of chain restaurants have moved in to the area lately and Vito's is a family run place. Vito takes the orders and makes the sandwiches, and they are incredibly filling. Stuffed with the best deli meats, cheeses and condiments. The woman behind the counter is also amazing. She is chatty and welcoming and makes you feel like you've been a customer there your whole life. If you are in need of a great sandwich at a great family run restaurant this is your place.

I discovered Vito's Deli a about a month ago . And I absolutely love it there. I always get the Honeymoon, they put an over average amount of meat on the sandwich. The rolls are always fresh, and it a very friendly atmosphere too. I would recommend Vito's to everyone who is looking for a good Deli.... I go at least 2x a week...

Consistently great subs. The guys being the counter are all business and they do amazing work! If you go to Subway or Five Guys over this... what're you doing??!! Stay local, go to Vito's, and feel good all around.

Hands down one of the best Italian delis in NH. It is packed with huge subs and hard rolls. For the price it is amazing. *ORDER AHEAD OF TIME, AND NOW YOU CAN ORDER ONLINE** They used to be so busy they took the phone off the hook... Online is the way to go. A+

Today was my first day trying the food.... Freaking amazing!!! I had the God Mother sandwich, words can't describe how delicious it is. Good quality meats and cheese. I'm never going anywhere else for lunch.
