I think this is probably the best Thai food in New Haven. Everything is delicious, and there's ample seating for big groups (I've been there after class with entire classes of students before -- always very accommodating). If you're looking for Thai, this is the place to go.
I highly recommend that families with children avoid Thai Taste. After my 3-year-old daughter cried for 2 minutes, the staff asked me to remove my child from the restaurant, just as I was taking her out. Before this incident, the waitress who served us was rude, perhaps the rudest one I have encoun
Thai Taste occupies the digs of the Old Heidelberg, beloved watering hole for generations of Yalies. There are still some traces of the old drinking spot in the midst of the gilt Thai artifacts. The food is good, portions generous. Prices are reasonable. With the recent sale of the Hotel Duncan, Tha
One of the best thai restaurants ive been to. I highly recommend the red curry duck, tom yum goong soup, papaya salad, steamed mussels, and the chia noodle soup. It is down below the street level and has a cool dated vibe to it. I see some reviews say that the service is bad. Ive been there about 50
The food along with the food presentation is good. Had the soft shell curry, beef panang, and pad thai. They were all delicious. The tom yum is alright... I wouldn't order it again. Food comes out fast. Place is charming--- perfect for people watching coz ur underground level with the street.
Got take away - soup and the green curry, about 12 minutes wait after ordering. Both were delicious (although be wary if you're not keen on spicy!), freshly made and hot.
Piping hot meals, very tasty appetizers and yummy combo meals. Generous portions too. Choose this option if you want to taste a lot of viands in a small amount of time.
We drive from just outside Hartford CT to come here! It's amazing. Highly recommend!
