Went for a dinner. Quite elegant ambiance, better for small groups of people. We went quite early ~5:30pm and the service was fast and great. The dishes are tasty, but the amount of each dish is not large. The cocktails were great, worth a try.

What a nice surprise to have such great fine dining experience in new haven after (during) the pandemic! We went earlier around 6pm (caution they’re usually booked so call ahead) and everything went smooth and beautiful. We got the oxtail croquettes and foie gras for appetizers, and the braised spare ribs special and sucking pig for main. Each had multiple cocktails, then dessert and espresso. Every dish and drink was perfection. The foie gras and the pig were hands down the best I have had in a few years. Staff was friendly and manager checked on us a few times. Drinks kept flowing without us waiting at all lol. It wasn’t cheap but worth every penny. Such a great experience!

Amazing food! Everything we got was so good. The cocktails were perfect. I loved the pate in the charcuterie board, and our main courses were fantastic. My husband got the duck for his entrée and it was the best duck we've had. I loved the special risotto they had with mushrooms. And to top it off, the desert was delicious! The bread pudding wasn't heavy at all. I loved everything we ate tonight!

Do yourself a favor. Do your friends a favor. Try this place. The attention to detail and, almost more importantly, the seamless delivery of every course was flawless. The dishes were unique and well thought out, served in a modern but not at all uptight atmosphere. Well done Olea!

We sat outside which was not a bad experience. The service wasn’t or didn’t seem different from sitting inside, which was great. Kind staff, also received two complimentary dishes from the chef. The food was delicious and the cocktails were also on point. Just a heads up, this spot is a bit upscale so the prices match the atmosphere. I’d recommend coming here for a date or with family.

First time at this classic and we were very impressed. The decor is modern and clean. The service was outstanding. The menu, while not huge, is varied and all will find something delicious. The food was presented beautifully. The gazpacho was amazing. The ceviche was outstanding. All of our main course dishes were excellently prepared with fresh ingredients. The desserts were also great! Will be back!

Great ambience, delicious food, beautiful space. I went with a group of some 12 people, and I was impressed by the efficient and pleasant service. We seamlessly got from one dish to another—in my case gazpacho, salmon, torrijas. The wine was delightful and the double espresso I closed my night with, probably the best I've had in New Have. Worth every penny!

The best authentic Spanish food in CT. The foie gras appetizer is decadent. The entrees are not only visually appealing but exquisite. The service is very friendly and professional. You must try this place at least several times.

Lovely and curated space. Yummy beet and fig salad. Delicious scallops with a phenomenal homemade tabbouleh. Fantastic service. And a great Albarino white. So thankful for quality food and wine in New Haven - if you're in town, make sure you stop here.

I needed the right atmosphere in New Haven for a recent early evening meeting with new friends to talk about art, museums, food, culture, travel and a bit of business, so I chose the gorgeous, sophisticated bar area at Olea, where I knew we could enjoy some tapas and fine Spanish wines. The wines recommended by Juan Carlos were perfect, and the small plates from Chef Manuel Romero were fabulous. Flash-fried shishito peppers, ensalada de calamar, jamón ibérico, flat breads with wild mushrooms ... Wow. We didn't want to leave. Can't wait to go back for the full dinner experience.
