Review The Lakehouse Pub - New Buffalo

Great food , after a few hours of riding , stopped by new buffalo beach to stretch for a bit , decided to go to the stray dog for a bite , wait was 1:25 , we decided to check out another spot and ended up at dooley's . Couldn't had been happier dragons breath pizza was delicious!!

My family regularly (pretty much once a week, sometimes twice) gets pizza from this joint. Their pizza is always consistently well-made and tastes awesome. The only negative experience I had got rectified with humble service and they went well above and beyond what I ever expected, or even asked for. I ordered a ham, bacon, pineapple pizza, but when I picked it up it had spinach instead of pineapple. I promptly called them to tell them about the mix-up, and they were extremely friendly and apologetic. They made me a new pizza at no charge! I'm pretty sure I'm outside of their delivery area, so I offered to pick it up and I was told they were more than happy to deliver it. I definitely recommend this place, and I will continue to eat from here because of the emphasis they put on their customers' happiness.

Great little bar and restaurant in New Buffalo MI. Been there over 18 months and since day one has had consistently quality food and service. The Potato soup will rock your world. When you order a sandwich there is no skimping on the meats. Italian Beef is a two handed wonder in a sub roll that is as good and fresh as any around. Their specialties are the Sub's. Lots of choices on the menu. There are side salads made fresh daily along with the bread. An establishment with proud owners who love to let you in on the history of the building. A delightful stop lunch or dinner.

This is a must stop place in New Buffalo! Great selection of food for any eater. We had the margherita pizza for an appetizer. It was amazing! We are from Chicago so we are picky about our pizza and it was delicious! My husband had the meatball sub. It looked amazing...he said it tasted as good as it looked. I had the potato soup (so freaking good!!) and the house salad. From the great selection of food to drinks, we will definitely be visiting again! Thank you Natalie and Colleen for a great visit!

You'll feel at home here. Amazing crust and nicely constructed N.Y. style pie with an option for thick fluffy pan style deep dish. Nice jersey sub menu and the house potato soup was incredible. Warm vibes here and thoughtful little pub/restaurant with full bar and live music.

A couple of buddies and I went to Dooley’s for the first time, we were originally gonna go to the stray dog which a very popular restaurant in the area, but they had over an hour wait so we decided to try Dooley's. Oh boy are we GLAD we did. For starters the service at Dooley’s was over the top. ALL of their staff was super friendly and super attentive, and the PIZZA O.M.G. We ordered the dragon’s breath I believe it was.We’re from Chicago and this was the best pizza I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend this place for a cold beer and a delicious pizza. 👍🏻

Two hour wait at Stray Dog led us to a zero minute wait at this hidden gem. Delicious thin crust pizza and Italian inspired subs. Lots of good wine and beer on tap. Casual atmosphere. Eat indoors or out. Friendly staff. Walk to Oinks across the street for an after meal treat.

Love the pizza and sausage sandwiches. HOWEVER... brought friends here last Friday at 6pm Michigan time and was told they had no sausage for pizza that was defrosted. No sausage on a Friday night? The staff seems pretty clueless over all. I hope they get it together before they ruin this place.

Their spin on the classic Reuben is THE BEST REUBEN I have ever had. I do not say this lightly. The pizza is also amazing and the best in town. I always get a LARGE because the leftovers are just that good.

First time customer and was created as if we were old friends. Went out of my comfort zone and ordered the tenderloin sliders. Oh My Goodness! They were delicious as was the side of potato soup!! We’ll be back!!

Called on a Thursday night (9/10) close to the time of close and the girl on the phone was SO nice! Best customer service for a delivery order I think I have ever had! Thank you so much! I wish I would have caught her name 🙂
