Lovely cafe, very old school feeling, plated dinners like you used to get at your nans. When you order a pot of tea you get the pot of hot water to top up. Lovely decor and well worth a visit especially if you are on a budget.

Great fish chips freshly cooked can take a short while, but it is worth waiting for we had takeaway, so no experience of atmosphere

I love that this place has barely changed since I was a kid.
As always, the staff are great, the food is cheap & cheerful, yet super tasty, and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We've been coming here for over 8 years we love it and must have had everything in the menu. Good hearty home made food ,never been disappointed . Good portion sizes and the Staff are lovely and always made to feel welcome . Definitely recommend..... Don't forget to Bring your cash !
