We have eaten in alot of cookout restaurants and the one on mlk blvd in nc has the most amazing employees and one person stands out she greeted us and even brought out food out to us she is amazing friendly and even went and got us spoons,straws,and condiments I give her 100 stars thank you Jacqueline

New Bern Nc 12 July 2023. This rating is based on a drive through hamburger shack. Ordered the cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and bacon with no sauces and they added mayonnaise. By far still one of the best fast foods available in town. The plus to this drive through is they’re open until 3am. 13 July 2023. By far one of the best burgers in town. But, Getting our order correct continues to be a challenge with the service when we go through the drive thru. Tonight we went through the drive thru around 10:30 pm. I final gave up on our order, after trying three times to get our order correct. I just agreed and took the order that was prepared. The only reason I return is that for fast food they’re one of the best in town. Tonight’s order was a double cheese burger and a cheeseburger with a medium sweet tea. The toppings was definitely incorrect and never could get the medium sweet tea added to the order…. 1 Nov 2023. The drive through is a lot easier to use on the inside lane....

Where do I begin to tell you about “JaQueen” the top shelf manager! We we greeted with a gift that shines from JaQueen rare gem. She brought our food to table and continued to ask if she could get anything for us. The pride in her that reflected thru her staff. Never have I met anyone in fast food industry that made us priority. I order takeout for my twin daughters she told me how to reheat bun so it’s soft and not hard. I will never forget meeting JaQueen truly a blessing from God. Cookout home office she should definitely be promoted to manager over new hires. She is priceless..
