Ate at this family owned place twice while on vacay. Who can go to the south and eat just salad! Met the owner, daughter and son in law. The minute we were greeted, seated and served I knew it was a family owned joint. We ate everything fried but you can get fresh fish grilled or steamed! Now don'
Excellent seafood and extremely fresh since they get their fish from the fish market next door. Rachel, our server, was really friendly and gave us really good service. My mom got the fish and chips and claimed they were the best she's had. Better than the English ones she had.
I love this place! Maybe the outside doesn't look fancy, but the food makes up for that. The crab soup is good, the fried shrimp is wonderful, even the brisket is very good. Sometimes the service could be better, but again the food makes up for it. The hush puppies are fresh and good too. We've
I drove to New Bern for a baby shower. After the fun was over I was Hungry so I ask the family, those who came on this trip are you ready for some good cooking? After Yelping different locations in New Bern, I decided to have some seafood at The Stingray Cafe. Upon walking in, the dimly l
Relatives from Vermont and I ate her about 4pm on a Friday. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The food was excellent, particularly the broiled flounder and fried okra. The waitress, Linda, was personable, happy, knowledgeable and quite attentive. I will be back!
Pleasant meal, southern style seafood. Crab soup had a nice taste, but far too dense. Steamed oysters I have never had. I wouldn't again, but the sauces and the oysters together are a different presentation of oysters to most people and worth a try. Soft shell crab with a coleslaw sauce was very goo
