At Morgan's dessert comes first, in the form of their complimentary honey croissants. This is about the 4th time we have eaten here and one word comes to mind, consistent. Consistent great service, consistent great atmosphere, consistent great food. The food was fresh, hot, and quick. For two, we usually get in pretty quick or at least under the time stated. For large groups, I would call ahead.
Parking is easy in New Bern and not like the meter nightmare that's taking over so many cities.
Worth the trip for the service alone. All of our food was excellent, and the honey croissants and interactions with every member of the service team make this a must visit. Prices were also extremely reasonable for such phenomenal food and experience. Also had a pet focused menu, and a very kind cooler of free waters outside on a scorching day. A favorite for sure.

This place was awesome. It started with these warm croissants on this plate with honey, may be a little butter was in it, they just melted in our mouth.
My boy ordered a burger, with fries, and these had to be the best tasting french fries I think we’ve ever eaten. They had some type of buttery special oil, I think they used to cook the fries and they were absolutely delicious. My boy gobbled down his burger in no time.
I had this really awesome big salad with grilled chicken added to it. Delicious blue cheese dressing, not the ordinary bottle type, it all seemed all homemade with the dressing, and with a lot of things they did. Delicious strawberries, nuts, etc.
The lemonade too, it was from scratch, that was pleasing too.
The service, man it was awesome. We had the kind of muscular blonde hair guy wait on us, could not remember his name, but he served us so well, made us feel special the whole time, and yet he was so professional. Not overbearing, but he never missed a beat. He was very polite, just kind and very happy, smiling the whole time. I mean, they pay attention to little stuff like when we got the to go box for my boys fries, gave us a little clean lid for our honey mustard sauce, (we did not ask for that) just little things like that that impressed us very much, where they went out of their way to serve us, and make us feel special. We did not have to wait real long when the meal was done, to get the check. This guy was on the ball the whole time.
We loved this place, came here after my boy played a golf tournament. So glad we came.
You guys are great, we absolutely loved everything about this place, the food, the people, the service, the atmosphere!!

My wife and I had one of the best experiences at Morgan’s! Although we had a little bit of a wait, and once we were seated our wonderful experience began. Our waitress for the night was Victoria, and she made us feel welcome, comfortable and she was very pleasant. Now, to be honest, we were not at all happy about where we sat, but as the night progressed, our expectations changed dramatically. From our awesome waitress, wonderful drinks, and yummy honey butter croissants, to our fantastic dinner…we were happy about our seats! This is not what we expected, but I feel that it does not make a big difference wherever you are seated. This restaurant is top notch for service, food and drinks! Such a wonderful dining experience and honestly our only suggestion for dining in New Bern! **Also…we could not find another restaurant to eat at while visiting in New Bern, so we decided to go to Morgan’s again the next day and we were just as thrilled and satisfied by our second visit!** Absolutely amazing food and great atmosphere!
We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday celebration here. We had the crab dip appetizer, the mozzarella sticks, drunken haddock, shrimp tacos and the tuna and shrimp entree. And the croissants.... It was a lot of food. And then there was dessert. We left stuffed and very satisfied. We would be here more often if we lived closer.
What a wonderful meal and atmosphere. We ate on the covered back patio and enjoyed everything about the evening. The spinach artichoke dip appetizer was warm and creamy. Our order was varied and included a pasta dish, fish and chips, and a pork chop dish. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was friendly and timely. We were not rushed and enjoyed a relaxing evening.
I love this place. My first time there but I will not be my last. The food was out of this world. I staff are super friendly. If you are in New bern stop by and have a drink and some good food. 👍
Had lunch here today and it was fabulous! They were very busy, but they handled everything perfectly. The building itself is very historic and beautiful. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious! If you're local, you probably know these things. If you're just visiting like us, Go!! You won't regret it. Morgan's is our destination for dinner in New Bern. It's a two hour drive for us, and completely worth it. The service is only matched by the quality of the food. Truly, we have never had anything that wasn't excellent. The servers were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and generally a delight to interact with. The building... is so much fun! I love the layout, and want to sit in a different area at each visit. Morgan's is worth every cent you spend, and a true value for the service you get. Enjoy!
First time visiting Morgan’s. The Mac and cheese was amazing. Best thing we had in my opinion, definitely the creamiest I’ve had from any restaurant. We tried the jalapeño cream cheese burger and the tipsy fish sandwich. Danielle was our server and she was great and very kind. We would definitely come back!
