We go out to lunch once a week with 2 other couples. We have a long list of Portuguese restaurants we are trying. Every week is a new one. We were very pleased with our meal there and have given it a star on list which means we'll be back. Food was good and just the right amount. Sangrias were delicious as were the martini's according to the other people in our party. I am a beer drinker and love the Sagras beer. (I even buy it for home).Restaurant was clean and our waitress was excellent. As I said before we will be returning to The Roasted Pig.

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time. We were impressed with everything from the pleasant decor, the soft guitar player serenading us as we dined, the cleanliness and very attentive staff. Our waitress Aline was very pleasant and we both remarked that we could tell she enjoyed her job. Having the chef personally serve you your entre gives a very personal touch! We had wine and dessert ( their homemade pineapple cream cheese lady finger cake is to die for!) and couldn't believe how inexpensive the cost for such a scrumptious meal! This owner is the best of any of the previous ones and we enjoyed our very unexpected romantic and delicious meal! We'll see you soon!

My husband and I, along with our friends, have been going to The Roasted Pig for a little over 2 years. Sometimes as much as once a week. The food is absolutely delicious. We have never had a bad meal, everything is always fresh and authentic. The owner is so kind and personable, as well as, his staff. You can't beat the prices. Where can you go and get 2 meals and a bottle of wine for $24.95!!! Great place, if you haven't been there, you are definitely missing out.
Some of the best Portuguese food i’ve ever tasted, like my mom made, a great group of ladies taking care of the room, and the best live entertainment, especially on Wednesday nights !

It’s was my first going on Saturday. I had the Shrimp Mozambique it was delicious. As a appetizer I had bacon & scallops it’s was so delicious.i had a white sangria it’s was delicious. I had there ice cream Sundie . The Service was excellent . It’s a great place for a date . My sweetie & I would come back soon . He enjoyed his octopus stew as special.
Delicious Authentic Portuguese Food.
Great service, clean and attractive interior. They even have a parking lot, hard to find on the North End. I highly recommend it. You won’t be sorry.
It was our first visit and it was delicious. We had Portuguese Steak and Clams & Pasta. We highly recommend giving them a try. We will definitely be back.

The roasted octopus with potatoes was absolutely fabulous! Our waitress was lovely too.
Our waitress was really friendly and was happy to answer questions we had about items the menu. My husband had the shrimp mozambique and mopped up the sauce so that the plate was clean by the time she took it away. I had the Carne Porco a Mentejana (pork with littleneck clams and potatoes) and also loved it. Enough to take home leftovers that we had for lunch the next day. We got the dinner for 2 special, which included sangria or a bottle of wine. Chocolate mousse and a galao (espresso w/ steamed milk) finished up the meal nicely. So much on the menu sounds amazing so we'll have to go back next time we're in town.
There are many Portuguese restaurants in the area, but the roasted pig is definitely my favorite to get Carne Altejana. The meat is so tender here.
Our favorite place for date night! From the moment you walk in, to when you leave, you are treated as if you are part of the family. The owners truly care about there customers and it shows in their restaurant, waitstaff and food! Highly recommended The Roasted Pig!

Great food, I loved everything! We had Little Neck Clams with Linguica, a Wonderful Pork dish (Pork Alentejana)- that was very flavorful and tender, Portuguese Fish & Chips, and Portuguese Soup. The food was amazing as was the service. I would definitely go back again and again!
