Review Inner Bay Cafe & Grille - New Bedford

Delicious authentic Portuguese 🇵🇹 food. The grilled octopus is, for me, an amazing choice. We went at a busy time and the food took quite a while to arrive but we quickly forgot that part once we tasted the food.

This is a family owned restaurant where they take pride in their business. The octopus was cooked to perfection! This is one the best portuguese restaurants, I have been to.

We tried this restaurant with high hopes. The decor is lovely, lots of charm. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The bartender could make a great vodka sour, but that was about it for positives. The food portions were not generous given the cost, the food lacked the traditional Portuguese flavors we love, or much of any flavor for that matter. It wasn't just one dish in our group, it was most of our group wasn't happy. The most disappointing part was almost a disconnect between what the menu says, the waitress explains and what actually gets delivered to the table. For example a Cajun sauce is just some very lightly sauteed peppers and onions over fish. No moisture added as one would expect in any sauce anywhere else nor any spices. In summary, small overpriced portions, served dry and lacking flavor. Consider any of the other dining options a stone's throw from here...

Probably one of the best dinners I have ever had. The owner and staff could not be more hospitable. The food and drinks were top notch. We were not rushed out. Just a great night!!! Can't wait to go back...

Have always loved this place as the food is delicious, although I think they could do better with the portion sizes. They’re just a bit on the small side for the price. Otherwise, a good meal.

If you want authentic & flavorful Portuguese food at amazing prices, this is the place! Judie was attentive and spot-on with recommendations. Trust her judgement! I had the special (shredded cod with onions, peppers, garlic, and chic peas) and cleaned the entire plate even though the portion was HUGE! The seasonal dessert (pumpkin bread pudding) was also amazing... I also had to taste of their traditional Rice Pudding. It reminded me of how my grandmother made it. The restaurant atmosphere was very welcoming with a friendly staff and well-dressed tables. They welcome regulars (which there were) and folks passing through just the same. I can't say enough about the flavor of their food. Try it! You will not be disappointed!

Is a very nice place, pretty and clean. The service is excellent, the food is very good and have a good supply of liquor and wine. I really enjoy to go this restaurant.
