The Cafe On Hawk Creek

This was a great little gem to find along our travels. Parking is minimal at the front of the restaurant but more parking is available directly across the road. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the atmosphere was clean, cozy and warm, and the food was amazing. I recommend a stone fire pizza and the fish and chips. Also treated myself to a mimosa. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly and had an amazing parmesan crust. I'm not sure what secret ingredient they used in the tartar sauce, but even that had a great flavor punch. A little pricey but well worth the treat! We will not drive by without stopping in.

Not going to lie, it’s a tad spendy but worth the money! We had some crab cakes that hit the spot. We all enjoyed our entrees. Fish tacos were spicy but delicious. Chicken Alfredo could have used a bigger more charred piece of chicken, but the sauce was on point. Photos of good after we already ate some.

The seafood mac & cheese is spendy, but SO delicious! Worth the splurge! And our server was great! Love sitting on the deck by the creek. Update: everything we've tried here is flavorful and delicious. We especially enjoy the seafood Mac and cheese - sauce is rich and creamy, seafood cooked to perfection. The roasted red pepper soup was SO good, also rich & creamy. We finished our meal with chocolate pudding cake & ice cream - delicious! Sadly, they no longer serve decaf due to lack of patron interest. Our server Allison and the other staff were friendly and made for yet another very enjoyable Hawk Creek meal. We'll keep coming back. :)
