Famoso Mexican Street Food is still incredible. The new specials, smoked marlin with cheese and an olive based salsa, and the new take on the lobster taco (rather than just a fried tail which I love too) are amazing. Now he's under a bridge closer to Griffith Park.
Just visited last week from Phoenix, AZ, stopped by here after our visit to the SD Zoo and was pleasantly surprised. I was even with 3 somewhat picky-eating kids and they all loved it too. It was a great value considering the quality and size of the portions - we had a lot of leftovers. Customer
We got our food Togo (duh we're in a pandemic) however very tasty and fresh. I can only imagine what they would be like right when you bite into them the second you receive them. 10 or 10 will go back. Limes-check Salsa-check *fresh not spicy* Delicious-check!
Amazing food!!!!!!! Ibe had the tacos and burritos and there Phenomenal. The ice cream is delicious and hand made.
Mexican food at this location - great. This place is absolutely outstanding. Prices were fair. Menu is like a place in Miami I enjoyed
Good food. Not much seating inside (barstools only) so we sat outside on the picnic tables. The train passes by frequently in front of the restaurant and there were mostly homeless people walking by.
One of my most treasured spots in SD. I used to come here almost everyday for lunch before I had to leave the city.
Great food the one time I got to go and would definitely suggest trying them out
