Took a day trip to visit a friend and ate early lunch! I ordered the regional Natchitoches meat pie with dirty rice. The meat inside the pastry was delicious! The dirty rice felt like a lot of meat including the meat in the pie. It was good.
My table enjoyed their meals, the crawfish looked especially delicious.
Service was great, but we were the first customers when they opened on a Wednesday, so it wasn’t busy.
My family had a fantastic meal at Merci Beaucomp. I loved the chicken salad on a croissant. My husband loved the gumbo! Our grandchildren were crazy over the mini meat pies!
Always enjoy this place. The meat pies were great. I had Chicken salad on a croissant. The croissant was smaller and stale. Not up to their usual standard.
The bread pudding alone is worth visiting due to its decadent flavors, but I also love their crawfish etouffe over their crab cake, and their mini meat and crawfish pies. Every time I'm in Natchitoches, this is my go-to place to eat.
My wife joined other 1962 graduates from Natchitoches High School for a 60th reunion luncheon. The service was great and the accommodations' were great for a group of about 30.
The food was amazing and the staff so friendly. The owner was there, cleaning the windows when I realized they might be closing down. I asked what time they closed, she said 3. It was 4:15. I felt so bad and apologized profusely. I've worked in the restaurant business and know how it feels to be kept late. The owner was so gracious and told me not to worry about it, that she had things to catch up on.
If you're looking for good food and awesome people, this is the place for you.
Delicious, authentic creole style cooking. It was the best I've had in a long while.
