A slice of Southern Illinois. Bonnie's Cafe was a delightful experience. The buffet has a variety of sides, meats, and desserts. I got the bacon burger with cheese. I liked how my bun was kinda crunchy. My daughter got Sunny side up eggs. She loved it!! Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. 5 stars
Bonnie cafe has consistently good food and service. And it's inexpensive. It ain't a fancy steak place, but if you go in knowing it's typical small town Midwest short order, you won't be disappointed.
The fried chicken was the best! Green beans, corn and green peas were very good also. They also had old fashioned bread pudding, that was like I remember as a child. Would definitely stop here again.
The worst breakfast buffet I have ever been to. The pancakes, waffles, and biscuits were hard as rocks. There was hardly anything stocked on the buffet. The eggs that were on the the bar were cold. Food was pretty good. Had a chef salad and was able to share it and it was fairly reasonable. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.
We were at a tractor pull in Nashville for 2 days. Ate there 3 times....lunch buffet, a breakfast buffet and the lunch menu. All meals were really good...!!!
Horrible girl told me 15 mins for pickup order was there 45 mins as i was there i seen the waitress being very un sanitary the cook was putting food up on the top dropped smenes toast off the plate put it back on there put the ticket in smenes gravy got it out with his hands dishes was filthy whole
