First night, we were impressed with the wait staff, but not so impressed with the food. The only redeeming item was the pork tenderloin. Great breakfast with plenty of choices! Only negative is that we did not enjoy the fried biscuits as much as at other places in the area. They are good, but seemed a little overdone.

This place truly is a Little Gem. Our food was better than I had anticipated for being an on-site restaurant. The cinnamon biscuits with apple butter literally melt in your mouth. The manager Sara was very cordial and made our dining experience memorable.

They were severely understaffed plus they were hosting a private event. Took a long time to get seated and to get our food. The ladies were very nice and food was good. If you are not in a hurry I'd recommend trying it. If you are on a time limit go somewhere else.

Loved the food. Perfect size for a dinner. The server was really nice. The dining room was like an old barn. A nice touch was that you would drink out of "ball" canning jars. My 2 refill was a Kerr jar. The salt shaker was a tiny masons jar. It's a delicious place to eat if you are in the state park
