Great place to visit in brown county, but if you are not wanting the drive thru, not enough parking spaces. Loved it other than that. Next time I'll drive thru
Cool little local joint in a quirky, awesome little town. Both this place and Nashville are 2 of the best things about Indiana.

Just got back from The Chocolate Moose - Brown County. Not only was the sweet cinnamon ice cream delicious and two others in my company found the M & M Blizzs' were wonderful, we also found d the young man who waited on us at the drive thru, Jack, was fantastic. He was kind, courteous, quick and funny as heck. He made my night and made me laugh!!! What a credit to the place - I will definitely come back and tell my friends too. Thanks, Jack, for a good laugh.
Supersweet staff. I got the ham and cheese sandwich and chocolate ice cream, and both were the best I've ever had! Absolutely delicious.
The best handmade ice cream and coffee. Great guys working there! Very friendly. I loved seeing them interact with their clientele, making animals out of ice cream cones. I can't wait to go back.

I would love to hear more about the "locally sourced tea" and wish they would fix the spelling of "rasberry" on the menu, but our shakes were incredible. Will definitely be back.

We love the Chocolate Moose and stop here every time we are in Brown County. The ice cream is so good. Hubby got a hot fudge malt which was recommended to him by one of the employees the first time we stopped here. It is his go-to there. I got homemade cookie dough ice cream. I try to vary what I get each time.

A wide variety of Sundaes available. And interesting homemade flavors of ice cream. We came out on Friday night and it was a little bit of a wait. But they have a really comfortable sitting area.
Our annual trip to Nashville wouldn’t be complete without a trip to The Chocolate Moose. Great ice cream, and great vegan options, too! I’m not vegan, but I AM lactose intolerant, so I appreciate that! This time, I got the vegan chocolate, and I was not disappointed!! Also, watched as someone made waffle cones by hand. Smelled SO good!!
My wife ordered the soft serve twist cone and I ordered the turtle sundae! The sundae was great! It had a nice amount of Carmel and hot fudge and nuts!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you
Anytime is a good time for ice cream and this place has a wide selection to choose from! They also have a decent food menu and gourmet coffee.
If you're in the area and tired from walking and shopping, stop in and recharge with a sweet treat!
Friendly staff. My wife had a Moose Horn and I had a Homemade Chocolate Shake. Just be aware that if you get the homemade shake it is extremely rich. Both items were very good.
Need some caffeine? Then this is the spot folks! The Chocolate Moose features Brown County Coffee which us roasted by them. They also have an outstanding Hot Chocolate; my wife's favorite. They also offer ice cream, pastries and sandwiches. It's a real nice place to sit down and relax and even meet some friends.
Delicious hand dipped (and soft serve) ice creams dealt in enormous portions! Seriously, the smallest offering they have is a two scoop. No complaints here!
