This is the best vinegar BBQ i’ve ever tasted. The hush puppies are great, the green beans are great, the coleslaw is great, the fried chicken dipped in the vinegar barbecue sauce is great, the pork is great and the only thing that isn’t great we don’t know cause we didn’t try it. Bbq and slaw was delicious. Chicken pastry was a bit light on the chicken but the bits it did have were very solid

Fried fish is hot and delicious. Sides are NC country cooking. Small and limited seating but great food. Wife worships the chicken pastry. Hometown fav for a long time!
The fish is the only thing I really like on the menu. Oysters are really good. If you know how to cook the rest of the food is mediocre and they give the smallest portions I have seen in my life on the sides. Check the prices...the food rings up higher at the register than on the menu.
