New Goha Ethiopian Restaurant - Nashville - Photo album

We REALLY loved our food here last night. We tried the beef sambusa (definitely something one person could eat - there were six smallish pieces) that were absolutely perfectly cooked - they brought the very hot fried appetizer out on a plate with a paper towel and there wasn't a speck of grease - t
This is a very cute little restaurant serving authentic Ethiopian cuisine in very cozy surroundings. It tasted like a home cooked meal and the flavors were quite diverse. They give you the option to combine your orders so you can eat family style. The injera was fresh and fluffy. We got the lamb and
Awesome food and service. Nice cozy place. Had the combo, nice balance of spicy and mild.
Enjoyed every aspect & thrilled to find such a good spot close to my new place. My dear friend Jōshua Odine introduced me to this little gem, thank you!!
Love this place!! My 2nd visit. I Always think of it when I’m in town visiting. & OMG in addition too ok the good food this time I ordered sweet tea not realizing that it would be iced Ethiopian Chai Sweet tea!! I drank it so fast she brought me more right away! I wish I could fly back to Nashville
This place is nothing fancy & it can be warm inside but the food is AMAZING. I eat here every time I’m in town. They have a combo option if you want to try 4 different dishes.
The food was great but the customer service was just okay . There is just one person attending all the tables which can get messy if it gets busy . Even with just a few guests it took for ever to get a glass of water for us Also , she didnt let us sit at a table next to the window saying it was rese
Absolutely love this place! We have been coming here for years and the food, service and atmosphere never disappoint. Yes - it’s a hole-in-the-wall. Yes - it’s not as updated and “hip” as other places in the area. However, the people are friendly and accommodating, it’s authentic, and the food is al
This is the kind of place I love. Genuine, humble, and delicious. I found the no frills approach to service and food to be a mutual compliment that abandons pretense. As if the place is there to say "We take each other as we are, my door is open to you." The atmosphere was understated, warm, and we
This place has wonderful food. From the outside it looks like a very small and not so fancy place. But we were surprised by how good the food was and how AMAZING their coffee was. It is the fanciest coffee I've ever had. The coffee beans were roasted in front of us and served in the traditional Ethi
I had a great meal here!! It's a small place and the people are very friendly! I've been a few times and had many different dishes. I'm just realizing that I'd never done a review. It's an authentic Ethiopian restaurant, so expect to eat with your hands using the injeera bread to pick up your food.
Uhh, yes, absolutely come here. I got the meat and veggie combo, and it was so good. But the real prize was the special coffee at the end. They roast the beans, have you smell them, then present it to you with burning incense. It's a medium light roast, but SO much flavor. The service was good, but
First time here and it was amazing 🤩 great service, atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I drove 2 1/2 hours away hoping I wouldn’t be disappointed and I most definitely wasn’t disappointed. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have wanted to try Gojo at the high recommendation from many friends over the years. I was so pleased with the entire experience! The Injera was the best I have ever tasted. Absolutely delicious and utterly perfect! Our server was kind, helpful, and gracious. Our meals were cooked to perfection. T
Definitely an experience to try Ethopian food when you are in Nashville! A Combination of of different meats served on top of injera bread which is like sponge bread using your hands to pick up the food. The combination of spices and vegetables makes a delicious variety to make the dinner more enjo
Cultural experience. Don't let the rough exterior or interior detour you from enjoying delicious food.
If you've never tried ethiopian food you should give this place a try. It has good food and the teff bread is gluten-free naturally. I like spicy and they will make it for you if you can handle the heat. They also have traditional ethiopian coffee and hot tea. The lamb I had was delicious. Named one
