Special Taste venezuelan Food, thNk you for the service. Great Spot....
First timer here but it won't be my last time. There is a nice selection of dishes to try. I really enjoyed the shredded beef empanada the dough was kinda sweet and worked well the savory beef. My favorite though was the pulled pork Patacon sandwich (the bun or bread is made out of fried Plantains) there this Verde sauce taste like less salty ranch sorry thats probably a bad description but please try it you won't be disappointed!
If you’re looking for a delicious, healthy lunch, I would check this place out. Good Venezuelan cuisine, friendly service, and a wide variety of menu choices that I would like to try more of.
Today I had several flashbacks to more than 10yrs ago when I left Venezuela and arrived to the States. I tasted the same flavors I remember from the many places that I grew up with. I thank you for allowing me to taste hone again. To anyone looking for authentic venezuelan food, it doesn't get more authentic than this. Highly recommend and I'll be back.
Small little hole in the wall, but OMG the food is DELICIOUS!!! Truly authentic venezuelan food that you must try at least once. Service was great and food came extremely fast for us and prices are super affordable! I'll definitely be coming back! Go eat here and thank me later. If you've never had Venezuelan food, the "Tequeños" are a MUST, they are like a Venezuelan mozarella stick, but BETTER!!!
Not that experienced in Venezuelan food but everything was so great. Love these sandwiches in which they use platinos in place of bread. Had another dish that was basically a pancake and a huge block of cheese and ham as a sandwich. Just amazing
We had the Carne asada Arepa and Tequeños. Yum! Have been looking for great Venezuelan food in Nashville and this place did not disappoint! Kind service, too- felt like home!
Nashville Venezuelan Food is an excellent spot for really delicious food.
The restaurant is quite small, and parking is a real pain (since you have to enter and exit the parking spot in reverse onto a usually busy road). However, the food is definitely worth the effort.
First thing I tried were some empanadas. One was a fried plantain and cheese, the other was a ham and cheese. These empanadas were made with a really fluffy, soft, fried outer shell that reminded me of a funnel cake consistency. The cheese itself was really nice, and I think I preferred the plantain one more, specifically since the sweet, caramelized bananas was a nice juxtaposition to salty cheese and a fried outer shell.
We also got a tequeyoyo. The only way I can describe is a giant mozzarella stick, however this also has fried plantains AND ham. This was pretty good, however the cheese was somewhat solidified, which I would have preferred if it was melted more.
Finally, I had a carne asada arepa. This is like a sandwich, and this was amazing. The “buns” are made of corn and were delicious themselves. Then, a hefty serving of grilled beef was placed inside with cheese, tomatoes, and a nice jalapeño mayonnaise-like sauce. If anyone has tried the creamy jalapeño served at Chuy’s this is a thicker version of that but delicious. This was my favorite item of the lot.
For sauces, you’ll have to get them yourself from an empty table (they have giant bottles of their creamy jalapeño sauce and small hot sauce bottles). Near the entrance is also where you can find utensils, napkins, and to-go boxes.
Now, why the 4-star rating you may ask? Yes, the food is a 5 out of 5, however I have some critiques. First, they don’t have tap water. If you ask for water, you will get and be charged for bottled water (not a big issue as it’s just $1).
The ambience is also too loud. With no one even eating in the restaurant expect me and 1 other person, it’s hard to hear yourself talk. Loud music is blaring, and some of the younger kids working at the restaurant can get noisy and sing with the music. It would be really nice to have a slightly quieter experience especially in a venue as small as this.
I ordered a pabellon arepa for takeout and service was friendly and quick. Arepa was built like a sandwich, rather than a pocket, so it was a bit messy. I wish there was a bit more beef and that it was a bit juicier but overall very delicious. Would definitely return. Great prices!!
I ate from this restaurant multiple times. Everything has been good and the serving sizes are worth the price. This place won't disappoint if you are looking for tasty food.
FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!! We got the Domino (bean and cheese empanada), a beef/plantain/Queso empanada, and a Venezuelan cheese stick filled with plantain/ham… SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Pricing is very reasonable for the portion sizes as wel.
Super authentic… including servers not speaking English.
Amazing! Great food at excellent prices. Try the cachapas, arepas and patacones. Chichas to kill for. Will be back.
Found this place, absolutely the best food... all fresh and tasty. Worth the trup

The food is incredible. If you don't get the empanada with plantain and cheese you're heavily missing out! It's to die for. The arepa domino is.. *chef kiss*. 👌👌
Ugh. Everything is so good.

A good place to try Venezuelan food, you can eat tequeños (similar to mozzarella fingers) arepas, patacones (it is a starving but with banana), traditional Venezuelan lunches, soups, hamburgers, and some traditional drinks. With really reasonable prices.
It's a small place with a Venezuelan spirit. I had my doubts when I stepped into the restaurant but everything was banished after I ate Pepito. It exceed my expectations, it was so delicious. The price is fair for what you're eating. Keep in mind that you are eating another kind of food, do not expect to pay cheap for good quality of food. Each dollar is worthy.
Food here is delicious. Try the pabellón arepas. Nashville needs more authentic South American cuisine.
This is an absolute hidden gem. The food is absolutely amazing...especially the empanadas.
The food is AMAZING! Had the FRitos Pollo!!! Some of the BEST fried chicken in Nashville. The refried beans were authentic and not out of a can!!! Food made to order!!! So the wait time was worth it!!! Excellent service and excellent food!!! Friend had fried Yuca and it was delicious!!!
