Just got back from Big G's. This is my 2nd time ever going there. I love the white fish! However, I was given catfish and not what I ordered. Very unhappy about that! The fish I got the first time was perfectly cooked. While waiting for my order the conversations of other customers is funny😄 It's a rough area but I do like the fish!🙅

Great place to get food!! The projects and random crackhead fights across the street are a little scary but overall great place to get delicious food.

Big G's is a convenience store with a counter-serve deli inside. The menu has plenty of variety and most of it is prepared within eyesight. The cashier was very friendly, and the cook served me the best chicken philly and fries I've ever had. Everyone who came in to pick up food, while I was there, seemed like they were in love with that place. It's not pretty, but the prices are good for a quick lunch.
The building itself is grimey and in a bad neighborhood. You will almost certainly be asked for food or money outside of this place. Go during the day and lock your car. There was a shooting on the sidewalk right outside several months ago.

Good was good ,but they left one of my dinners off I get all the way back to Madison and realize they still owe me for another plate but I did call and they said they would replace it so I go back and get it tomorrow I will give them all stars
