We had a great time at this bar. The selection of whiskeys did not disappoint. Both bartenders working were very nice and knowledgeable about what they had to offer. The place looked and smelled clean. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a great bourbon or whiskey selection.

Holy hell. It is high end bourbon and whiskey aficionado heaven. Brandon the head bartender (owner?) is outstanding and made me a custom old fashioned with old grandad 114 and some kind of grapefruit thing and boom I had the best old fashioned ever. The corn bread is ..... bitter. Even the sweet butter couldn't cut it for me. I need to try their other food I guess. But the bourbon selection. WOW

Came in on a Sunday for drinks and dinner with the wife. Ryan was the bartender savant that night. He asked for recommendations from cocktails to the menu and damn if he didn’t NAIL each recommendation. We left happy and full. First trip to Nashville and our last night ends with a BANG. Looking forward to out next visit and having Ryan crank it out the park!!

The Old Fashinoned is wonderful. I love that the drinks were all Alice in Wonderland themed.
The bartenders were awesome and were very knowledgeable. The goat cheese Creme Brule was delicious.
This is a place you should check out. I will be back for sure.

Excellent selection and ambiance! The food was delicious as well! Highly recommend. And if you are looking for a more formal dinner atmosphere you cab always go upstairs to the 404 Kitchen.

Came in on a packed Thursday night. For the several hours we were there, bartender Ryan never stopped moving for a second. He handled the entire bar solo and still managed to find time to make bourbon recommendations. It was a sight to behold. Great whiskey selection at reasonable prices, solid cocktails, and delicious pimento cheese. 5 stars.

Amazing cocktails and foods. Bartenders helped me to pick good foods and beverages. 404 old fashioned was the best modern OF I ever had. Great vibes with nicely decorated interiors. I will come back here again and again as long as they keep their quality up there.

Old fashioned was excellent and not too sweet.
Portions are pretty small for the price but the braised rabbit and fried catfish were delicious.
Rabbit was crazy tender and cinnamon forward with amazing, marshmallow soft gnocchi.
Catfish was super flaky and tender. Not at all oily.

Love this place! Found it online and stopped in on my vacation. Glad that this was my last stop because it was the best! Ryan took care of me and even though it was busy, still felt like it was all about me and my needs. Thanks Ryan!!

Had a great experience here. It's a shame they've taken the whiskey flights mostly off the menu but you can still get something off menu if you talk to the right bartender. Taking a star off because we were scoffed at by one bartender before getting great service from someone else.

All I gotta say is WOW! Reminds me of a bar back home that has a massive(diverse) whiskey selection, but also has great service as well! Michael and Hannah were awesome! Know their wall of whiskey really well. Willing to look for bottles in your flavor preferences that you haven't tried yet. They even made a fantastic mock-tail for my pregnant wife! Overall fantastic place, and must stop for whiskey enthusiasts in the Nashville area

On my first night in Nashville, I visited Gertie’s bar for some cocktails. Brandon went above and beyond, making handcrafted delicious cocktails, sharing city sights to visit, and encapsulated southern hospitality. The drinks were phenomenal. This is a must visit on your Nashville tour.
