Goha Ethiopian Restaurant - Nashville - Photo album

First time trying Ethiopian. I likes the experience of using the Injera instead of utensils to pick up food, but the spongy texture of weird and after a while I just couldn't handle the sour taste anymore.
First time eating Ethiopian cuisine and I was very pleasantly surprised. Lightly spicy that builds on the palate and at the back of your mouth. Appetizer was a Sambusa - a fried meat filled pastry with a tomato chili dipping sauce. Light pastry, savory beef, yum. I had the Alicha Wot (lamb stew)
This is my second time eating Ethiopian food. The first was right outside the country of Ethiopia so I feel as though I know good and authentic Ethiopian food. Is the food authentic? Yes, very authentic. If you haven't tried this type of food before then be ready for a great mixture of spices/seaso
I have been coming to Mrs. Amy’s for years now and it’s always good. The service is wonderful, the staff are great, and the food is DELICIOUS! The food is always fresh. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Absolutely love it.
I've been wanting to check this spot out for a while now and recently had the opportunity. Started with the lentil sambusa, then had the chicken tibs awaze. OMG! So good. So glad to have this gem in the area.
I was initially hesitant as I never tried Ethiopian food. But wonderful service and the people were very friendly!! They took time to help me to make choices. Food was really awesome, the bread was unique. It was a good experience!!

I was very impressed with the buffet. The lamb stew was amazing. Definitely worth trying.
Amy is wonderful, and her food is amazing! Go on Friday night for the vegan buffet! WOW!
Amy offers Ethiopian food at its best in Middle Tennessee!!
The buffet is amazing. And the food to order is so good that I can't keep my eyes open as I'm eating it. I like it spicy and they can definitely do that for you. They are very respectful of your privacy. And very family-friendly accordingly. I prefer the green tea smoothie. But you'll never taste an
Great family owned restaurant with great food. Since I am Vegan I love that they have a Vegan/Vegetarian friendly menu. They even offer a Vegan buffet every Friday evening. I’ve tried a few other Ethiopian restaurants but none seem to measure up to Amy’s taste wise. I usually try to visit them at l
Every time I've been here, I've had the pleasure of being served by Amy and her husband. They are about the nicest folks I've ever met. More than happy to hang out and talk and answer questions. And they both seem to genuinely want to give a great experience as well as great food. And the food i
5 stars all the way. The atmosphere is clean, the food is delicious, and trust me when I tell you, the service and people in there are as kind as can be. They always offer to help us to the car with our To-Go boxes. If you get the chance you need to check this place out! Ethiopian food is incredibly
I've eaten here a few times, it's a lovely family run business. The decor may need a refresh but the restaurant is always clean and tidy. I normally order the Awaze Tibs and a coffee. As well as the food that they serve, they also sell some produce, like Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Coffee Beans (which
My first Ethiopian experience, and I was swept away by the unique and distinct flavors. I could rave on and on about the food or surprisingly large wine selection, but the service is why I'm writing the review. The friendly man working was extremely helpful when I was trying to pick out my dinner.
Very good Ethiopian food. The coffee is amazing. I'm so glad we went here. I love Ethiopian food and I was not disappointed here. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. The service was great. We order the vegetarian combo. There is also a vegan buffet on Friday's that I really want to try. Thi
