Aqui is the sweetest and her chicken is the BOMB. We got a 100 leg quarter and 200 breast to share. The 100 was just right for me- spicy, crunchy, juicy and soooo flavorful. The 200 was yummy but could not eat a whole piece!! Aqui makes everything TO ORDER so there's a wait time but it was absolutely worth it. We had a goal of finding the best hot chicken in Nashville and definitely found it. Will be back- thanks Aqui and best of luck with the new restaurant space!!
Hands down my favorite Hot Chicken joint in Nashville. The most consistent spice heat level and coverage while keeping a rich seasoning flavor, I'm there once a week!

First and foremost, I CALLED to place my order, and when I showed up the food was waiting for me! The staff was very professional and kind. The portions was very big. The pork chop was the size of a dinner plate! The food was also HOT and delicious. It is now my go-to for hot chicken in Nashville.

For my money, it’s among the best hot fowl in town—-right up there with Prince’s and Bolton’s, only delivered with twice as much sass and class from sweet Aqui herself! Excellent sides to boot and true heat levels that genuinely are HOT.
400 Degress is simply the best hot chicken. Prince's invented it, and Aqui perfected it. The crunch, the grittiness of the "paste," the flavor, the heat. Oh my! Other places are doing cool stuff with hot chicken and are doing it really well, but 400 Degrees offers no frills, great hot chicken and a small selection of classic sides. The product is very consistent, unlike other hot chicken places in town. You have to start with a white or dark quarter and get your hands dirty the first time. She also offers tenders and cooks up a mean hot pork chop. Do yourself a favor: call it in ahead of time so that you'll avoid the wait / know how long the wait is. Regardless of wait time, 400 Degrees always hits the spot.
I'm that guy who gets chicken tenders everywhere I go and seriously 400 degrees has the best chicken tenders I have ever had!!!! They are crispy enough and still have an amazing amount of meat on them, and not to mention the seasoning is EVERYTHING!!!! They are my #1 go to from now on!!

Loved everything. ��� had 200 degree pork chop man it was hot but it was good � had 200 degree seasoned fries an 100 degree leg quarter it was the best I smashed it. Friendly service. Will I be back well why wouldn't I wish u all stayed opened long thank u for ur great food an service.

The best chicken I have ever eaten!!! I drove 3.5 hours just to eat here, and let me tell you this I would drive 10 times that for this chicken!
I love anything hot. So I was excited to try the 400 degree wings. The chicken itself is amazing and fresh. It just had way to much seasoning on it. It does have some heat but nothing to crazy. But I have only been once. So I'm going to go back again and hope not as much seasoning. It also is a bit of a wait for the food.But it's cooked to order which I don't mind for some fresh Nashville hot chicken.
Got the 200° Leg Quarter, crunch was awesome and it was served so hot and fresh the temp made it hard to eat it at first. The heat level was just right for me, but equivalent to "medium" at many other popular spots. The atmosphere was very simplistic- think like high school cafeteria- probably a 2, but it was clean and the artwork that was painted on the walls was interesting which improved it. Service was good, a employee from the back came out to take my order immediately, and a friendly man came out and brought my food to the table and informed me that if I ordered online next time, my food wouldn't take so long to come out- (I did wait about 15 mins for my food, but was told that wait time when I ordered). Overall I'd go back and enjoy again, but consider take out as the dining area leaves a bit to be desired.
400 Degrees is always a good time. My Southern husband says that it is the best fried chicken he has ever had. I tell people all the time to go check it out. Truly delicious, and lovely burn. I personally thoroughly enjoy the 400 degree level. The heat and flavor balance well.
I love everything about this place, I can’t say enough positive things about this establishment. The chicken and fries are great, I always get 100 or 200 degrees. I always get the tea too, it’s excellent. The shrimp is good too! The atmosphere is great, there are tons of selfie walls. And the staff is great, the epitome of southern hospitality.

We ordered the 400 degrees and the 200 degrees spice on our tenders leg quarter and the breast . Loved the spice level .

OMG this chicken is so so good! Seems like every order is cooked on the spot. The chicken was so hot that we were burning our fingers the entire time. We had plain, 100 and 200 degrees. All of it was delicious! The potato salad was so good, we're still thinking about it. Love these type of places. I can't wait to visit again when I go back to Nashville.
THE best hot chicken in Nashville. And I stand by that. The owner is super nice and welcoming she's always there to make everyone feel like family! The spicy fries are amazing and highly recommended. it's also very affordable. Definitely worth the drive to the north side. The inside also has some really cool murals (especially near the bathrooms) love 400 degrees!
Just ate at 400 Degrees for the first time. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the spice was insane. If you want the best and hottest chicken in Nashville, this is the place to go. Even though it was super hot, the flavor of the chicken came through in an outstanding way. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly. This is my favorite hot chicken restaurant that I have been to in Nashville so far.

This is the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. It’s not even close. I was doing a cross-country trip and had to stop in Nashville for some classic hot chicken and gave 400 degrees a try. When I walked in, I was greeted like I was a family member coming in who they hadn’t seen in a while. Aqui and her team gave me the warmest welcome I have ever experienced at a restaurant and checked up on me several times during the meal to make sure it was good. I loved the place so much I even asked for a T-shirt and although they didn’t have any for sale, Aqui went into the back and grabbed one out and gave it to me free of charge. This place is a true winner. They cook everything fresh and make their food with love. It wasn’t just the best chicken I’ve ever had, but the best overall food experience I have ever had. I am coming back to Nashville soon just to come here again, and show my friends how great it is. To Aqui and her team, thank you all for such a great time, I enjoyed every minute of it!
Ordered online while we were on a road trip and ate it there. Tried the porkchop, tenders, cauliflower, shrimp and fish. Basically everything. Lol. Everything was super fresh and seasoned extremely well. Ask for their even hotter levels that aren't listed on the menu. The staff was sooo nice. You won't be disappointed.
We enjoyed it so much! Our food came out piping hot and the service was very friendly. Plenty of parking out front. A little wait after we ordered but only because the food was fresh and made to order- definitely worth it.

Showed up around 11am, ordered, received food almost 35 minutes later, and it was 900% worth it!
Ordered the 200° Leg Quarters and fries, the meat came out crunchy, hot and juicy. It truly cleared my sinuses lol. I've been breathing clearly out of my nose for the last 3 hours lol.
This is a must-do in Nashville! We were treated so well by the owner and her staff. The wings and tenders (half 100 and half 200) along with the beans and fries were all magic. Get plenty of napkins, a cold drink and don’t get embarrassed if you say “I want my mommy”. Honestly this is some tasty grub.
Chef Aqui represents everything hot chicken should be about. Great hospitality, excellent food(everything on the menu!), clean restaurant and amazing smile!
My group from Dallas ordered wings, leg quarter, fish, pork chop and tenders all with different heat levels. All were fantastic.
We got our order in timely fashion and Chef Aqui even personally came by to check on us even though we knew she had a long list of orders to fill.

The food is delicious but yes they definitely put the HOT in hot chicken. I got the 200 tenders and it’s definitely had me sweating and cursing as I was eating it.
