As soon as you open the door, your senses are overcome by the smell of a NY pizzeria. The atmosphere is matches. The food was delicious and reminded of a place we went to in Brooklyn when I was younger. We tried the meatballs, pizza, and calzone. All were fresh and perfect.

We ordered delivery from Sal’s to our hotel room. They brought our food so fast! The supreme pizza was hot and loaded with fresh toppings. The garlic rolls and sauce were great too. Delicious! Highly recommend!

we were driving down Old Hickory Blvd, and saw Sal's Family Pizza nestled between a dry cleaning place and decided to try them. our first impression was that sales was an authentic pizza and Italian food restaurant. I told our server that this was the best pizza I had ever eaten, and it was. if go and order a "medium" pizza, be prepared to ask for a to-go box.

Got the antipasto salad and a slice. Both were great but I really enjoyed the huge, fresh salad! Had half for lunch and the other half for dinner. My husband's Stromboli was great too and gigantic!

Tried Sal’s on a whim because we were from out of town and couldn’t be happier! It is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. We are connoisseurs of pizza and it takes a lot to impress us. The ingredients are fresh and authentic, quality cheese and meats. The sauce is made from scratch daily. A side from great food, staff very friendly and treated you like family. A must try!

Wow, outstanding food! Freshly prepared and of high quality. The Tortellini Florentine was amazing. The cheese sauce was authentic and definitely made with cheese and cream like it should be but hard to find. They definitely care about the quality of the food they serve. Pizza was outstanding as well and I compare to the higher quality new York area Pizza.
