Really a hidden gem in downtown Nashville! It doesnt look like much from the outside, but it is truly some of the best Italian food I have had. I suggest the "Taste of Italy" dinner, which is $21 and feeds 2 or a really hungry traveler! Note: We came at 7:30, so it may be busier earlier.

This honestly was the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. We end up ordering it to the hotel one night as well. Real montrella cheese unbelievably tasty..

Pretty good. We're super Italian so it's hard to compare to NYC. However service was fast and very nice thank you. calamari was decent, kind of fishy but hey it's Nashville Tennessee not the Northeast. our server was very friendly which was nice, she's from the Ukraine. That pizza was good the chicken pasta was really good, the calzones were good too. The pasta dishes with the side chickens contain marinara sauce which is the sauce you get with mozzarella sticks not that homemade Italian sauce. Overall pretty good experience. Prices were reasonable.

My husband and I found the Italian Kitchen on google maps and were glad we did. The service we received was great and friendly. They were more than willing to make sure we were happy with our meal. Our salads were very fresh and being Italian, we are kind of picky on our sauces. Both the red sauce and the Alfredo was very good. The garlic knots were just perfect and I took a canolli to go which turned out to be delicious. I also really liked the decor of the place.

I’ve only been here in groups of 4 or more, and my experience with servers has been positive the 4-5 times I’ve been here. Service was quick enough, although food took about 35 minutes the one time I was in a group of 8. The food is good, although a little salty. Portions are decent, neither too big nor small. The environment is decent. That said, last I checked this place is open till 3-4 am, so this joint is probably aiming for a less than sober late night crowd, and maybe the night crew is the source for a lot of the negative reviews on the service here. But I’ve only been during lunch and at that time the service was fine.

Great spot if you want to get away from the bar scene downtown. I recommend this if you are looking for a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere while in Nashville.
The Chicken Parmesan was excellent! Large portion size at an average price.
Waitress was courteous and helpful.

Took my wife there for our anniversary . We had a blast! The workers were friendly, they sang us a song. The food was very delicious . It was a spark to my taste buds! The garlic knot was soft and delicious. The pasta was cooked at a perfect heat and the chicken had slot of taste to it. A must return resturaunt.

My husband and I are from out of state, and ordered for our hotel room from Grubhub. We could not have been more pleased with the food. Portions were much larger than we expected, and everything was fantastic! The driver even called to let us know he would be little late due to traffic. Would definitely order from this restaurant again and will look it up the next time we come to Nashville.

Great little secret downtown. Excellent food and service. I love the lasagna. They have been steadily doing little things to improve their decor over the past couple of years. My server Inna is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet.

Perfect little spot in downtown Nashville. The atmosphere is cozy but not dark, located in an old building the brick walls are something you don't see much of anymore. Service is great, ordered the chicken marsala and loved it.

Wife loved the chicken Greek salad and my chicken Alfredo was the best I've had in a long time. Service could have been slightly faster, but they were very busy. Worth the short wait.

Stopped in after the 2018 July 4th Fireworks. A nice retreat for pizza and drink. Ashley, our server was very pleasant and efficient. Good thin crust NYC style pepperoni pizza.

Not a single soul in the place!!! but me and the buster running the microwave. They have two TVs ... one was off and one was broadcasting The Walking Dead reruns to an empty fucking room. I only have eaten here once, so I cannot justify a 5 star. I may change that later, as I try more. My real last name is Schipani. Get it? I know a bit about Italian. This is very good food. That is why I eat out. I will return. Had baked ziti. The Italian kitchen is now my favorite Italian restaurant. I am sorry some had a bad experience. I can only tell you I was treated very kind and I asked to speak to the chef and he took time to come out and let me shake his had in gratitude.

Restaurant was ok, booths etc, and the decor seemed a bit updated. Pizza was great!! Waitress was very nice and right on top of everything. Will go back again next time in Nashville!

Food was pretty good but the service is absolutely garbage. Guy charged me $5 for writing on the back of a paper menu. Didn't argue because I didn't want to cause a stir. Also seen a table next to me frustrated with the service. Plenty of other options around.

It was okay...just okay. Being from out of town, weren't real sure where to go...ended up here...when we tabbed out...waiter gave the cash back in small bills (I get it) and over $2 in nickels...NICKELS! Food was just okay...expensive...could've gotten the same at an Italian fast food for a hell of a lot less.
