Stopped here on a road trip. Nice set up good coffee. They have a nice selection of breakfast items that are fresh and are well made. meaning it doesn't taste like the plastic wrap you get at one of the chain coffee places. The coffee was good, nice selection, friendly staff, ample amount of seating. So if you're in the area of Portland Brew East this place is definitely worth the whiskey.
Really great place for working, the coffee is great, I always get the cold brew. The sandwiches are fantastic - genuinely the best BLT I’ve ever had!! I get it every time I go in, multiple times a week. Want to try what else they serve, but the BLT is so damn good it’s hard to steer away. The space is always calm and relaxing, plenty of tables and outlets. I’ve enjoyed their outside seating too.
Portland Brew East is Nashville Native Approved. It is a great little spot to go and work for a few hours or just have a chill morning. The black coffee is very good. I always get dark and it has a perfect flavor packed punch. The staff has always been very kind to me, too. If you sit outside you will see multiple dogs walk by, as it has a very homey location between the Eastwood and Lockland Springs neighborhoods. Plenty of street parking in every direction and a paid parking lot in back, that you probably wont need to use.
Favorite coffee shop in Nashville. Much more down to earth than other shops, and the prices here are very reasonable.
So yummy! My friends and I got breakfast sandwiches and lattes. They also had great vegetarian sandwich options!!
Everything was amazing! Surprised with the cost as it was all so delicious as well as beautiful. Great veggie options for sure, very satisfied overall. Also super kind staff and peaceful environment!
This is one of my favorite coffee shops to work at. The baristas are great - shout out to Joey and Trevor! Also, there is a tremendous amount of seating. It’s a warm place to work, especially upstairs, on a cold day. And you can get bottomless coffee for less than $2.

If you want some very strong coffee, Portland Brew East is your place! I got a cappuccino and it put some pep in my step for sure! They have an outdoor seating area at the moment which is nice for sitting with friends, not sure what plans are as it will start to get a bit chilly soon but I'm the meantime, have a cup 'o joe to warm 'er mitts :)
Coffee is really good, espresso is on point! This place is really chill, quit. 2 floors that's great!
Portland brew is one of the best coffee shops in east nash. Haven’t tried their food but their coffee is really excellent and the surrounding area is nice to walk around as well.

First off, they let you bring your dog inside while you order. Which is not common here in Nashville!! The tea I ordered and the bagel sandwich I got (arago) were absolutely delicious. The prices are really good! The staff was very kind. Would definitely go back
My partner got a dirty chai with oat milk and rates it a 4/5. Good by default because it’s a chai.

I come here often. The staff is kind. The coffee is fantastic. The loft upstairs is very big, with wonderful natural light, and is great for a study or a read. Great location; parking is convenient down the side street. Perfect jumping off point for a walk around the neighborhood, which you may want, because their coffee is pretty strong lol.
Great coffee, great staff! They have choices of non dairy options!! Everyone is on their computer or phones, same way as everywhere else.
