On of the best burger joints in Nashville. We had the Southern Belle burgers. The bun was fresh. The bacon had a great smoky flavor. Great place to watch sports too.
This place is the ultimate in burger delight!! It's wonderful, burger cooked perfect, Bloody Mary's spicy and lots of pickled veggies!!! Have had everything on the menu and there's nothing that's not a delight to eat here!!
Worse experience ever in Nashville - - -. My wife & I dropped by here to have dinner last night----we were told at the door to grab any table. Easier said than done. We ordered a few beers & very uncomfortably continuously stalked around the place like vultures waiting for people to leave. Every time someone left, someone else would happen to grab it before we had a chance. After 1 table was grabbed up by some big dude in a orange UT hat that just walked in, my wife said to him "I'm sorry but we've been here for half an hour", to which he replied, "sorry lady, that's how they roll in this place." Nice.
We finally grabbed a large table, but were told you needed at least 8 to sit there. I said, fine, find me a table or place at the bar that we can sit & I'll get up. 10 minutes later we left. We're obviously not big enough @ssholes to break in front of other folks to ever go to this place again. Guys, break down & hire a hostess for $10 an hour - - geez.
My family and I have eaten at both establishments many times. There is nothing bad to be said about the quality of their menu or food. However, EVERY TIME we sit down we are reminded as to why we do not frequent more often.
Like I said, the food quality is truly above the rest, but it's how incredibly rude they staff is EVERY TIME.
It is simply annoying to be treated as though THEY are doing US a favor, by serving us food and drinks that WE are paying for.
It just goes to show they just don't get it when it comes to quality customer service. We are the reason your doors stay open. So put a hustle in your slow step and try to shine with your kindness.
Your welcome for our business.
Lunch on a Sunday. The atmosphere here is great- for 12:30 on a Sunday I was surprised they were so busy. Our waiter said they are a hot spot for watching football. Loved the beer selection! Lots of crafts, I love trying new brews so this place fits the bill in that regard. Prices are as expected. I didn't think anything was overpriced. They offered a tastly looking brunch menu but I ordered the smashy melt burger (basically a patty melt). It was good- patties a little more done than I prefer. I like mine mid to mid rare and these were well done. Waiter didn't ask so I didn't think to specify. Not the best burger I've ever had- I'll have to change the temp next time. I don't love that the whole restaurant is set yourself- as another reviewer mentioned, if they are busy and you aren't standing in the right spot, you are likely to have someone steal a table you've had your eye on. Our waiter was fine- kept our drink filled but didn't bug us. They were very busy so food was a little slow but we didn't mind- given how busy they were it was understandable. I'd give it 3 1/2 out of 5 stars and will definitely return.
Thumbs up, but not two thumbs up. Our server, Dominique, was EXCELLENT. The food was good (but not *great*). The atmosphere was good and the place was clean (a BIG plus for me). My only complaint (if you want to call it that) is that it's definitely one of those places I left wondering "Now, why did that cost me so much?". Two burgers, fries and cokes should not be $34.00 (after the tip), and if they are, they'd better not be just good but DAMN good. Unfortunately, our food was just "good", so I left feeling a little gyp'ed. I think (and hope) this spot will endure as a fun hangout for the locals, but probably won't appear on too many "Nashville's Best" lists.
Great atmosphere and good food. Love the beer selection. Rose is the best bartender.
Excellent with one annoying Caveat. I have been here 4 times so far, and here are my thoughts. If you are into craft beer, this place has a great beer selection, both draft and bottle. The burgers are fantastic but the whole wheat bun on my wife's veggie burger was quite dry, we'll ask for the regular bun next time. Turkey burger is great too. Brunch, right on!
One BIG caveat is that they serve everything on a pie tin with paper on it. Ok, no big deal for burgers and sandwiches but for anything that requires you to "knife and fork it" (read chili burger) this is terrible! The paper, which soaks up all the juices, immediately shreds when trying to cut something. The chili burger and the brunch burrito both were served on paper and I had to contend with pieces of torn up paper in my meal. Com'on guys this isn't a hot dog stand. When I asked for a real plate they brought out a saucer. :\ Other than the ridiculous paper issue this place is pretty good and worth a visit.
Love this place. A great selection of craft beers, knowledgable bartenders, and rockin' burgers.
The Nashville hot cheese curds are really good. The Crunchwrap was good. Always a good selection of drinks. I was not a fan of the Sgt Pepper burger, they came the blue cheese on there and it was just tooo much. Highly disappointed they took away the Carolina sweet potato fries!
Madison was my server today and she is absolutely fantastic. The food was perfect and I'm so happy they get pasture raised meats from Porter Road and a gluten free bun that actually tastes good! Service and food was amazing... and I'd come back just to be surrounded by Madison's good energy!
A great spot to hang out on Saturdays and watch football. They have a great drink selection from a variety of breweries and their food is incredible as well. We got buffalo chicken fries and the garlic parmesan wings. Awesome atmosphere and great service!
Our server barely came to check on us one time after getting our food. I could understand if it was a busy night, but it wasn't. She was at least friendly though.
Audrey was the bomb! The food was great and the service was great! First time and won't be the last.
My daughter and I ate here on a Friday. They had a great beer selection which was sorted by type of beer and that was very helpful. Choose your calories carefully…and these calories are worth it! A very tasty burger and waffle fries. A fun atmosphere to eat or just hang out and have a brew (or two!). We’ll definitely go back!
One gripe - the high top chairs and tables outside are so close together it is difficult to move when consecutive tables are seated. Maybe management could look at that?😕
Indoor and outdoor seating, we brought our dog and there were plenty of other fury friends.
They specialize in burgers and have sandwiches that come paired with waffle fries. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious but the fries were overly salted. I used ranch to cover the saltines. They have some games outside and plenty of beer for anyone to grab a good drink!
Dined on 12/7 around 630 pm. Though crowded, we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Kirsten, was fabulous, knowledgeable, and very attentive to our wants!! We had pretzels/dip, queso/chips, and pickles/peppers for appetizers, along with 4 burgers Appetizers were all good, maybe some more jalapenos in the pickles/peppers. Pretzels harder than expected for dipping. Grandkids enjoyed their burgers, while my daughter and I thought ours were dry and seemed to have sat awhile before serving. Will still recommend, the atmosphere and service was outstanding!! Thank you!!
Pretzel bites w cheese dip were yummy. Black bean salad was very good w Cajun chicken. Beer choices are crazy! Charlotte Ave S has really grown in a good way 👍🏻 w lots more eating stops & great bars.
This place is so good! The drinks and food are definitely one of my favorite places in Nashville. I always go for the chicken nachos and Casita margarita which i believe Jake the tall guy is his name really puts them together really nice! Some servers are a little rude but besides that it's a great place to chill, eat and sip. Side note the Burgers are really really good!
With this being hip and hot Nashville I was worried about parking, but lots of close, easy, and free options. The outside of the building is super fun and when I walked in it was even better! Great chill atmosphere and puppy friendly patio. JAKE at the bar seriously gave the best and kindest service (this guy is what Nashville is all about). And Bailey was super attentive and welcoming. The menu is simple but each item punches a flare. Do not miss the Buffalo cheese curds, WOW!
I can’t believe I have lived in Nashville for 40 years and just now experiencing this spot. This will be a place I tell all my out of town friends and family to visit!!!
Based on food and beer selection alone, this has become a must-stop any time we visit Nashville. However, the customer service we received during and after our most recent trip was above and beyond expectation. I left a pair of prescription sunglasses in the booth, and didn't realize until I was back home. Staff responded to my call immediately, offered to ship them to me, and didn't make me pay for shipping costs (which I gladly offered to do). Very thankful for the service, and will absolutely be back.
They served brunch from 10a-2p. That was when I went. The place was a little busy but our server continued to check on us. When the food came, it was delicious. The cinnamon waffles were cooked perfectly and the mimosa was great with it. Would definitely return again.
Great food, the beers are amazing. The service would be better if they weren’t so understaffed. Overall it’s awesome. I love it there. The cheeseburger with waffle fries is my go to. Or the naked wings with waffle fries and ranch.
