We flew in with a reservation at Char. We waited for a table to be ready and grabbed drinks in the bar as we listened to live piano. I marked just 4 stars for atmosphere - the main room seems cavernous and could use more appeal. They have booths as well as tables (and several large groups were there). There is another room, but I was unable to observe. We shared a dinner, and the food was absolutely wonderful. Save room for desert - the praline ice cream is wonderful! They have a selection of wines, and don't forget the port with your dessert. Parking wasn't obvious to us as we pulled up. I believe they have some valet or garage parking - might want to check in to that. We parked across the street and did not get towed. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area!

Hope for the future

We went here for my birthday this year at the beginning of July and we have a great time!!! We also took advantage of the nice mirrors in the bathroom for a mini photo shoot!!! I had the crab cakes that were fabulous and a pineapple mimosa!!! I would definitely suggest this place for brunch as they have a great variety on their menu and there were no complaints at the table about any dish ordered. We all ordered something different but only two were drinking and we both ordered the pineapple mimosa so I can't comment any further about the drinks. I will definitely be back to try their dinner menu and listen to more of the live band. They have a live band!!! Enjoy

Great place, different ambient. Piano playing live while you enjoy your med-rare steak is a must.. I recommend shooting for steak frites as a first visit. ( steak to your liking, med- rare is a MUST, wouldn’t want to commit a blasphemy chewing on well done rubber, accompanied by fries topped w/ Parmesan, órgano & truffle sauce) Wife went with the Shrimp Carbonara, and it did not have a single flaw in it. I tend to start my palate with desert. - House made pecan pie, might be too sweet for some. My choice Aperol Negroni. Now if you want something apart from the norm menu & are in town for a momento, ask for the Seasonal Menu, they have currently rack of Elk, you’ll thank me later!
