Wow. When you’re wanting nothing more than a simple, classic tasting donut, this place beats out any competition. The texture is still light and soft like a regular donut, but the dough is denser and has more “chew” and subtle sweetness to it. It is a delicate, perfect balance of sweetness to dough.
Hard to beat great donuts! And Shipley makes great donuts. Oh, make a few more cinnamon twist donuts so you aren't out of them when I get there Thanks

Great donuts All they really need is a location on the West Side of town. Charlotte Pike or 70 would be ideal. They're just too far away from half the city to get to conveniently.

Made it there within an hour of being open and the selection was endless. The employees were friendly and dressed very neat. Sanitary practices were in full effect. The bold flavors of the donuts are the cherry on top
The do-nuts were great, fresh and delicious. Not quite like the ones in Houston, Texas but I was elated to find a little bit of home in Tennessee. The cashier was patient and kind.
Shipley's Do-Nuts in Nashville does make life delicious. Do-Nuts for sure anyway. A small shop that offers a nice selection, a variety of kolaches are also available. I would recommend the bear claw. If you don't find it enjoyable, give it to me. Lol.
My first time visiting this establishment. Excellent products, extremely friendly staff great service. Would seriously recommend anyone visiting Nashville to check this place out.

I've had Shipley Do-Nuts on several occasions but have never actually gone into one of their locations. Let me say, I was not disappointed. Their customer service was as great as their donuts! I ordered two dozen glazed and was asked to wait 10 mins since they were out and needed to drop fresh ones.
My first visit.... I couldn't focus. Went for 2 glaze, 2 old fashioned.. Left with a dozen.. No old fashioned..
I have known the owner for maybe 10 years. 15 years. Most likely, he is a top quality, very nice person.
