Excellent spot for authentic texamexicana cuisine off music row. Service is going to be good, likely perhaps slow but good. The tequila selection is vast, and the mezcal is solid. Prices are fair. The food tastes so fresh! I got the quac, and I really am a sucker for presenting guacamole in a stone dish or mini stone pot. It almost feels like you're in Mexico or watching abuela maken lunch while you drift in and out of siesta. The margaritas are very good but not quite bartaco or even tacomamcita. The ambiance was social hipster chic... but the place was fairly empty when I arrived. I haven't tried their beans yet, so take this one with a grain of salt. However, I will be back soon to try the black beans! All in all, I have to recommend this place, especially students in the area or couch surfers on vacation. This little corner of nashville is worth the trip.
My server tonight was Mei Mei and she was outstanding. Very attentive and made sure my meal was to my satisfaction. The place was amazing and the food was delicious. I went by myself for a self care night and so glad I did. The cornbread was my favorite. Drinks were stout and I only had one very very good sangria. Took desert home can’t wait to try that later. Was it pricey? I literally don’t care it was worth every cent :-)
Loved the vibe of nada! Seated in a very cozy corner and enjoyed our selves. The drinks we’re amazing! The chips and salsa really good! The fajita el jefe a must try as well! The chicken tacos are everything! Get the corn on the side a the rice and beans. Thank me later! Will always return to nada.
Food was delicious and the service was great too. Appetizers were small, but really tasty. We had the pastor, cauliflower and fish tacos as our mains. All were the perfect street taco size. Grilled corn and mac and cheese sides were yummy too. They even made mocktails for those who couldn’t drink. Dessert was the only item that was slightly confusing. I ordered tres leches but it tasted just like strawberry short cake. Still good though.
Nada is the gem of 21st Avenue. Fun atmosphere, really good service and delicious food. I love the street tacos; especially the cauliflower one. A trio of salsa, all fresh and unique in flavor alongside plantain chips makes for a great appetizer! We also really liked the street corn and enchiladas!
Amazing atmosphere and delicious food! Our host Miles was great. We ordered the Baja tacos, Street corn, potatoes, Brussels, and corn bread to share. Also for a birthday we got the tres leches cake 10/10
Fun Mexican restaurant! Great margaritas! We got the crispy potatoes, black beans and rice, mac n cheese, and the enchiladas. All of them were good. There weren’t many vegetarian options, so we mostly ordered of the sides menu.
Finally got the try Nada after driving by it on my way to school. Food was beautiful but VERY mediocre. Small portions for tapa style which is always fun but a little on the pricier side so make sure to go with friends. Drinks were AMAZING. Probably the best spicy margarita I’ve ever had… and the drinks were surprisingly VERY affordable for Nashville. $10 & $12 for top quality margaritas ? I’ll take it. Don’t think I’d come back for dinner but I’ll be back for drinks and dips for sure!
I had my second experience eating at Nada. The Mexican cuisine is absolutely delicious. Their Gaucomole was the best I ever had and the chips were homemade. The shrimp tacos were divine and the ingredients so fresh. The service was great and Skylar our waitress was terrific. Can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kathy M.
I had a fantastic experience at Nada in Nashville! The lively atmosphere near Vanderbilt added to the fun vibe of the restaurant. The food was fresh and served promptly, and our waitress, Emma, was delightful and attentive. The drinks were also a highlight of the evening. The Pork Al Carbon tacos were a standout dish - definitely worth trying. I highly recommend Nada for a great dining experience in the heart of Nashville.
First of all I apologize for this very long review but I feel this restaurant is so amazing in so many ways that I feel it is worth the time to write. I came for lunch on May 25 walking from Vanderbilt hospital. My husband had just left his room for a long heart transplant surgery. I ended up at Nada. The waitress could tell I was upset and was so sweet. I told her my husband was having surgery. She brought my lunch…shrimp tacos and rice and beans…it was the absolute best tacos and rice and beans I had ever tasted! When I was finished my waitress looked at me and said…this lunch is on us! I truly couldn’t believe it! I brought my son there a few days later and the waitresses remembered me and asked how my husband was doing.I was amazed that they remembered me! The food that day was equally amazing…my son also loved it! I then brought a new friend who really needed a break from staying with her husband nonstop since January. I took her for lunch and again the waitresses remembered me! I introduced my friend and told them about her situation. We ordered lunch…all the food was again amazing along with the wine we had! Then…about 6-7 waitresses came out along with the general manager, Adam. They told us we were now part of the ‘Nada’ Club and presented us both with a gift bag! In it was a very substantial gift certificate to the spa next door. My goal that day was to make my friend smile…well she definitely was smiling!
I am an older woman and have traveled quite a bit…I have never seen such compassion from a restaurant. Their service is top-notch and their food is so incredible…along with their wine!!!
I encourage you all to visit this restaurant…you will love it!!!
Just need to thank everyone who works there and the GM…and the owner, who I had the privilege to meet. Whenever we come back to Nashville, I know where I will be eating!!!
Try their seafood enchiladas…they are incredible!
A delicious, upscaled version of Latin American cuisine. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is above average. The fish tacos were a bit greasy but were cooked well. The chips and salsa trio appetizer was a favorite of the entire table.
Would love to go back and try some other options.
Simply put…this is my spot when I’m in the area!! I order the Chicken Carbon (2 tacos) every time. The chips and different salsas are also the rage. Oh and the drinks are on point. Love the staff here and they treat me like a king! Parking in the lot next door will set you back $8 but it’s super convenient.
Patio was really nice once the sun went behind the trees a little bit. Drinks were delicious, but could've used a little more kick. I had the Chile- Mango margarita, and it had great flavor with just the right amount of spice. As for food, the guacamole and queso were both very good - different, but good. I loved the Pork Al Pastor tacos, and really liked the Baja Fish tacos as well. Overall, very pleased with the experience.
Now I did not know what to expect from this place. But once I stepped in and sat at the bar I felt welcomed. Great atmosphere and service. Is it pricey? Yes! But I went to another place where you pick each taco out and choose each ingredient (which you get charged for) and it would of been the same price. But Nada's tacos really feels like you get what you pay for. The churros were simply and delicious. Which is probably the best that I could remember. Definitely someplace I recommend and will visit again soon.
