This is cool place to hang out and have a beer before a Sounds game. The food we ordered was good but smaller portions than expected but was good.
We met for a birthday hang here last night. When we arrived, there weren't many people. We were rather confused about how militant the hostess was about a group size, as you know how these things go: friends come in and out, people arrive randomly, and those flaky people you invited might come or not.
We did end up with more people than we thought, but it's long tables with long benches; we squished together 🤣🙄
GF people beware: not a ton on the menu for you here. They did have 3 ciders, so that was nice. The drinks are large for the price, as they're just a dollar more than most of the breweries in Murfreesboro.
For my food, though, I just had to pretend barley doesn't exist (and am paying for it). Your truly GF friends aren't really going to be able to eat here. There are a few salads, but I didn't even ask about all the toppings or dressings or anything.
The food I did get was good. The portions are decent for size and location in Nashville.
There's plenty of parking around it, but beware of the cost when there's a game (that's true all over Nashville for any event, though, which is like every day, right?).
Overall, neat place but the hostess being so angry about party size was wild 🤣 she was probably having a bad day, and I hope the rest of the week is kind to her!
First time visiting and if I lived in Nashville I would be here often. The beer choices were great (especially Stouts), the Pretzel and Jalapeno Cheddarwurst hit the spot.
Great spot for a meal and beers before of after a Sounds game. Check the beer menu for the big 🍺. The pretzel was what you'd expect and the sausage sampler was delicious. Bartenders were super friendly too.
Fun place in German Town right next to where the Nashville sound play baseball. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, brunch menu available as well on certain days. Food is delicious I really enjoyed the cheese curds and make sure to get a side of the syrup with it, this was an accident but now it's my favorite thing ever. Drinks are huge and it's all around a lot of fun. Ton of parking around the area. Definitely a spot to stop if you're in town and I would recommend.
Literally steps from First Horizon Park, this beer hall and restaurant are a home run in food, beer and service!
I enjoyed an early evening meal with my family, including little ones, and all were content. (*There may be busier days not as family friendly)
I fully enjoyed my Angry Bird sausage with cilantro slaw and a stein of Kolsch! (Sampled the Mac and cheese...it was delicious too) Food and beverages were good all around!
Highly recommended!
Great place to visit. Especially on a Thursday night during the stein special. Parking can be a little tough at times, but plenty of paid parking lots nearby. Would encourage an Uber or scooter ride. Staff are attentive but on certain days can be busy and less attentive. Overall, I love visiting this place. It’s my go to Thursday night football venue! Always have a great experience!!
Great brunch experience! Their menu is different from traditional brunch from other restaurants, which made the experience even more unique!
The pretzel monkey bread was delicious and everyone should definitely try it!
They have large communal tables, so you may end up joining others’ parties (which wasn’t a problem for us, but thought it was worth mentioning).
We made reservations here for my daughters wedding rehearsal dinner. The service and atmosphere were both above par. Food wasn’t exactly tasty but if you love authentic German good then you will love it. We had a great time and I love the location too. Very easy to park for free.
This seriously could be such a good place but it’s INSANELY HORRIBLE. The girl bartender was so disrespectful to our whole family after we just finished a marathon. The staff made excuses to not serve us beer. Even though they are hosting the “celebration” for all of us who did the marathon. The staff is lazy and rude. This is not the first occasion of this horrible service either. Don’t waste your time. Go to Jonathan’s or Neighbors down the street.
Great place, delicious food. Amazing atmosphere. Kids and dog friendly. Quick service. Friendly staff. Delectable beer. Highly recommended 👌
The in-house sausages are great, but the menu is, in general, somewhat limited. What they do offer is very good. In addition to sausage, I also recommend the mac-n-cheese, pretzels (make sure to order the beer cheese), cheese curds, and cheese burger. Others ordered the Etole Corn and said it was very good.
The beer and cider options are excellent. It's not the largest selection I've seen, but I liked everything I tried, and there are enough different flavors to satisfy pretty much anyone.
It was a Sunday evening, and service was good, although a full table service for ordering food from the patio would have been nice. I've never sat inside, but perhaps there is ordering from the table there. Outside, you order food at the inside bar, and they bring it out to you. You transport any drinks yourself from the bar after they've been prepared.
Speaking of the outside, it is dog friendly. There were lots of folks there hanging out with their dogs. I met several new pup friends during our visit.
I will definitely go back and try the indoor seating next time. One word of caution is that the place can be super busy any time the Sounds have a home game, regardless of the day of week.

Great beer selection and outdoor beer garden area. Parking is $25 so plan for that. The food is good and i recommend the pretzel for snack.
Stop 15 on the “my BIL is in town and I think I’m going into kidney failure” tour.
Huge beer list, homemade wursts, cool interior vibe and top notch service.
A liter of dunkel at noon is a lot - especially with biscuits and gravy. The beer - cold, rich and delicious. The biscuits were flaky, the gravy yummy but the sausage Pattie’s were very salty and eventually over ran all other tastes.
My buddy had the Trinity Sandwich (pulled pork, brisket and jalapeño cheddar wurst on a bun with cole slaw and gravy) and the BIL got a wurst platter.
Here’s the breakdown:
Cool vibe +1 star; great beer selection +1 star; pretty good food +1 star; excellent service +1 star; hanging with friends and family +1 star; super salty sausage Pattie’s -1 star.
Would have been 5 except for Salt issue. I will 100% give another shot.
Community seating at long tables; it made for a fun environment. Bar servers were a bit confused and served our drinks to our neighbors but they were light hearted about it. Beer and food was fine. Try the pretzel!
Awesome covered, heated patio that's dog friendly. Their pretzel is more ballpark than Bavarian but it's still pretty soft. Super sharp mustard that'll clear your sinuses.
House ground chicken sausage was very good and oregano forward. Coleslaw was lightly dressed and very flavorful. We'd definitely be back.
food was good but i thought the potatoes with meat, cheese , eggs was going to be enough to feed our table of 4 but it was really small
Very good German food. I am so glad I visited Nashville and found this awesome establishment. Great choice of beers and cocktails! If you are in the mood for German style cuisine, try Von Elrods out!
