Our dining experience was fantastic! Great service from Grant! My boyfriend's steak was "melt in your mouth" & my lobster ravioli "was to die for!"
We love this great restaurant, anything is possible! Everytime we visit Nashville, we have to come here to enjoy great food and ambiance. Staff is friendly and chefs make it happened if it’s not in the menu. I love seafood risotto with mushroom cream sauce! 😍😍 sooo good! Not on the menu but they made it happened. Try the beef carpaccio, out of this world! Thank you!

We discovered Valentino's on our very first trip to Nashville thanks to a suggestion by a hotel valet. Over seven years later and it is still our go to place every time we visit Nash, which is several times a year. The food and atmosphere are amazing and you'll want to plan your visit on a night when they have live entertainment upstairs. You might even have a celebrity run in as this is the secret gem for locals. Enjoy their extensive beer, wine and cocktail selections and watch the couples that come there to dance or, of course, you can always join in. We love this place!
Wonderful place for a romantic dinner. We ate in piano bar upstairs. Food and service both great. We’ll be back.

Valentino's has never disappointed me, since when I lived there 20 years ago, including my recent visit a few weeks ago. Still one of the best Italian restaurants in Music City.
Best Italian food I have had in Nashville! Lyman was my server. He was fantastic. He greeted me at the front door, got me seated, and took very good care of me. I was a solo diner and had an exceptional experience. I can't wait to go back.
Intimate dining experience for myself and a work colleague while visiting Nashville. The distinct rooms offer something different in each space. The enclosed outdoor patio area is very spacious for groups/individuals and provides heat during winter nights. The space is dimly lit, so it makes for a great romantic ambiance.
We had a party of two for dinner however we did not make reservations. One of our work colleagues recommended the restaurant the day prior. Grant was a superb and attentive host and graciously seated us inside. (Dinner reservations strongly encouraged).
I ordered the Garganelli and my colleague ordered the Frutti do Marre paired with a merlot. The food was okay, somewhat bland. I requested a generous helping of parmesan cheese. We shared a tiramisu which was very delightful. Overall, nice dining experience.
Valentino’s Ristorante was recommended to us by one of our Uber drivers. My friends and I were seeking an authentic Italian restaurant.
Located within an old house, the atmosphere was perfect..like being in Italy. Our waiter was wonderful.. We loved watching him make our Caesar salad right beside our table. The lobster ravioli was delicious..We were so full that we couldn’t eat dessert.. but we did order a tiramisu to take home with us. It was incredible as well. Whenever you find yourself in Nashville, give Valentino’s a try 😋 📸
We're visiting from out of town and chose Valentino's for dinner. It was phenomenal. It's a great space which includes a nice outdoor area. We started with Arancini and Burrata, which were superb. My Garganelli was delicious and my beautiful Italian fiance says the Gnocchi she had was the best ever (aside from her grandma's). We were stuffed, and the only dessert we wanted was Cherries Jubilee, but it wasn't on the menu. However, our fabulous waiter said they had all the ingredients, so he made it table side and it was amazing!
Very lovely waitstaff, and a wonderful little restaurant. I have no complaints about anything, pricing was reasonable, they managed to fit my very large party, and everything tasted excellent. Make sure to call ahead if you have a large group!
As soon as I walked in the smells were amazing. The fried calamari and the breaded veal was a little over breaded but absolutely delicious. For dessert I selected the bourbon peach sorbet. So delicious. You first tasted the bourbon then you tasted the peach. Excellent! The service was outstanding. We were never rushed and the smaller dining rooms made for an even more enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely be going back.
Had the most delicious, special birthday dinner at Valentino’s. EVERYTHING was amazing. The service, atmosphere and food was all wonderful. The bread was delicious, the table-side Caesar salad was fresh, calamari was perfectly fried. Lasagna was top-notch. I could go on, but to sum it up: 10/10 - we WILL be back!
Very nice ambiance. My husband ordered the special of the night which was chicken stuffed with spinach, goat cheese, tomato with a white wine sauce & risotto (delicious). They cook the banana foster table side. Excellent service.
My only critique would be that I wish the tiramisu had a thicker cake layer.
It was fantastic.. from the second you step into the door and you leave it’s enchanting. We were greeted by Kevin who is the most handsome lovely man and taken care of by Grant who took the best care of us along with Alexandra. Freshly made pasta. Everything was delicious! I haven’t ever had better pasta in my life. Thank you all for a fantastic dining experience. See you next time.
Celebrated our anniversary last evening and our experience with the food, service, and ambience was outstanding. Grant was our waiter and he was exceptional, so very attentive yet not intrusive. We also enjoyed his sense of humor very much! Our choices were awesome….the melon and prosciutto was so fresh. The chicken marsala was delicious and the special my husband selected….grilled shrimp, scallops and lobster tail with citrus risotto was exceptional! The Old Fashioned Grant prepared for my husband was the best he has every had and we appreciated the wonderful Tiramisu, it was a special and thoughtful touch. Our dining experience was perfect in every way and Valentino’s Ristorante has become our very favorite Nashville restaurant.
Had really great food and time last night! It was our first time visit there even though we knew the restaurant was there, and wish we visited long ago.
The restaurant was in the big old looks used to be a regular house. So each dining room was small, ours had only 4 tables in the room. So we felt very private and comfortable with not much noise around. Server was very professional. He was very knowledgeable and attentive.
The most importantly, the food was great. We ordered 2 of the special of that night. One was shrimp pasta, and another was lamb. Pasta was great. Lamb was exceptional. It was really tender and juicy. In fact it was the one of the best lamb we ever had. In the end we had tiramisu for desserts. It was home made and not overly sweet and great. We end up asking one more to bring back home to enjoy next day.
Valentino's Ristorante is a Nashville tradition, and remains one of the best fine dining restaurants in Nashville serving a variety of additional Italian dishes. The tableside prepared Caesar salad is perhaps the best I have ever had, the espresso rubbed filet is amazing, and all of the pastas are locally made and sourced. I love the intimate setting of the restaurant, the outstanding food, and most of all the impeccable service. If you have not been to Valentino’s, you have to give this place a try.
Such a classy restaurant. Amazing staff who are very attentive. The quality of service and food is very high end. My husband and I went there for our 2 year anniversary. We ordered the Espresso Fillet, the Frutti De Mare, the Bourbon Peach Sorbet, and was given a Tiramisu on the house for our celebration! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet night with high quality service and food.
You have to eat here! This was an unbelievable dinner for 5 people!!! I had the veal parmigiana…what an absolute treat, but be ready for a huge portion! We ordered an extra lasagna to share which was excellent…but again large! One in our group had the lobster ravioli, which was also very good. Rack of lamb was one of the specials…the best we’ve ever had! Two had the coffee rubbed filet which was great too. The topper on the experience was Andre’…what an awesome waiter! We will be back on our next Nashville trip!
Excellent Italian food with great staff. Kind of a fancy place. It ain't cheap, but it's worth it. Veal parmigian highly recommended.
We arrived at the time of our reservation and we were seated immediately. The table was small and very romantic. Our waiter Grant went above and beyond. He was very attentive and helpful. My lasagna was fabulous my husbands meal was delicious also! Dessert was Amazing! The Wine was PERFECT! We will be coming back for my husbands birthday.
I went here for my birthday and it was so LOVELY! We ate outside and we were the only ones out that night so I loved that! The waiter was so nice and attentive! He suggested the night special which is what I got. The Lamb chops and it was sooooooooooooooooo good! Every singly bite was so delicious!!!! My husband had chicken parm and he said he enjoyed his meal as well. Also the vibe was very romantic. We will definitely be going back!
