We loved this place so much we ate here 2 nights in a row on a quick weekend trip to Nashville for our anniversary. Our favorites were the whipped feta, turnip cacio e pepe, sweet corn and butternut squash mezzes. The fried chicken entree as well as the fall risotto entree were delicious. Our server, Stephen, was on top of his game and great with recommendations. Great atmosphere and fun to sit at the chef's counter. My only complaint was the limited craft cocktail menu. Dessert was great too even though we only had a bite because we were so full!
I didn't even like brussel sprouts until I dined at Butcher and Bee. Their menu is fresh, never boring and always delish! They also know how to exceed their patron's expectations by going over and beyond. I've celebrated birthdays, hosted business meetings and caught up with friends there and it's the perfect place for all of the above! Do yourself a favor and go....and get the brussels! You won't be sorry :) -M
Everything about this place is phenomenal. From the top notch customer service by Hillary to the most amazing food from the chef...This is the BEST dining experience we've had in years! Oh I can't forget to mention their unique cocktails and fabulous coffee. You should never leave Nashville without eating here first!!
The Whipped Feta alone deserves 10 stars!!
All of the food was presented well and had amazing flavor combinations.
The entire experience was great!
I loved that the check came to the table in an old Hardy Boys book!!
Tried almost everything on the menu! Everything exceeded expectations. The service and the food/drinks were perfect! Will recommend!
The food I ordered was AMAZING. My mouth is watering thinking about it! We had amazing service from not only our server, but those seating us and others that made sure our water/drinks were never empty. The ambience of the restaurant was great and we cant wait to go back!
The food was fabulous. The staff and chefs, top notch. Great recommendations and sharing of knowledge. If we ever return to Nashville, we'll certainly find our way back.

What an amazing place. The staff, environment, and food was off the charts!!!
We were visiting from Chicago and this place was amazing! Everything was so great and our server Olivia was awesome!!! Wish there was one in Chicago!
I tried the Green Eggs and Lamb and was not disappointed at all - I couldn't get enough of it! The flavors are so unique and blend so well together. We went for brunch in a group of 6, and we were all really satisfied. Such a cute atmosphere too!
The service was perfect. There were 4 of us who had never been there, so the server explained everything, then was attentive without being intrusive. The food was phenomenal! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Nashville!
Service was great and the food was wonderful. Had fun watching the chef dance while he cooked. It's a happy place.
I had the pleasure of dining at Butcher & Bee in Nashville, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the stunning decor – a perfect blend of modern chic and warm ambiance.
The food, without a doubt, was a highlight of the evening. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and premium ingredients. The menu, a delightful mix of creativity and culinary expertise, left me wanting to try everything. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste truly set Butcher & Bee apart.
Equally impressive was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, the waitstaff enhanced our dining experience. They were quick to offer recommendations, accommodating to dietary preferences, and ensured that every aspect of our meal was flawless.
Butcher and Bee is a gem in Nashville's culinary scene, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Whether you're a food enthusiast or just looking for a memorable dining experience, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. I left with a contented palate, a satisfied heart, and a strong desire to return soon. Butcher & Bee has earned its place as a must-visit destination for those seeking a remarkable culinary adventure in Nashville.
The food was honest to God, some of the best food I've ever had. Every ingredient in the food complimented each other so incredibly well. The sodas were hand made and tasted much better than any fountain or store bought soda. The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs making this amazing food. The service was amazing and super friendly. Would recommend a hundred times over to all of my friends. This is a place everyone must try at least once.

Not a place we would typically have gone, but we were given a gift certificate so we tried it. The meal was great! I called and thanked the person during the meal! We had the whipped feta, crispy avocado salad, and grouper. All sharable and perfect meal for two. Everything had its own twist of grilled ingredients which added flavor and made it unique. Service was excellent as well! The open fire grille was fun to watch.

Great experience from beginning to end. The food was fantastic and just enough for 2. A little bit on the pricy side, still worth it.
We had the whipped feta with mint infused honey served with fresh made pita bread.
The crispy rice with chicken
And the "We're out of paint, so..." which is served warm.
So good.
We loved everything about our experience. Since it was our first time, we had the Tasting and had a variety of dishes for a set price per person. Some of my favorites were the bacon wrapped dates, whipped feta and honey dip, avocado rice and burrata and fig. Their meat was cooked to perfection, we had the chicken and steak. The drinks and the service (Kayla) were too!
Claire was a great server!!! Super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! We did the chef choice. Really cool way to enjoy a meal. Tried dishes I would not have ordered, but really ended up liking a lot.
This place is exactly what you need when you want really amazing food. We had a vegetarian in our group and they had more than enough options that were vegetarian and vegan friendly. The vibes and service were impeccable. Nicki was our server and she was very attentive and sweet. Also gave us suggestions on what to do in Nashville. Highly recommend. Oh and P.S the bathrooms even have Cottenelle toilet paper. Huge plus!
We sat out on the mock porch. Beautiful evening and our server Jess was fantastic. You made my daughters birthday truly special. We did the Chef Suggestions and it was fantastic choice to sample almost everything on the menu. Will definitely go again.
This was such a cool place to be! The food, service, atmosphere... everything was fantastic. Our server Amanda was very sweet and accommodating! Highly recommend the chef's tasting, our favorites being the whipped feta and avocado crispy rice.
Went here for my birthday dinner and the food was so so good!! Everything was a great portion size and easy to share. We got the Steak, the Whipped ricotta, the meatballs and the peaches and cheese. Our favorite was probably the whipped ricotta as the pita was soooooo good. I would’ve loved to try one of the desserts but we were too full.
If I could give more than 5 stars for service I would. Not only did Ally go above and beyond for us she made us feel like royalty. Highly recommend the chefs experience and then ask to do a wine pairing. You will NOT be disappointed!!!
One of the coolest restaurants in Nashville. The service was unfortunately not the best this time around. However, the food and approach to delivery of the various dishes and culinary execution remains one of the best in East Nashville. We came in for lunch and the brunch cocktail menu was a bit uninspiring, so I went with kombucha they had walker brothers on tap which is great. Ordered the hummus which has a green super spicy skoouge(sp?) Use moderately, and it will sneak you if you are arrogant about it. The whipped feta, think sweet savory salty and munchable. Pita on the side which is toasted on a wood assisted grill. Also ordered lamb sausage and chicken Schwarma but it came out way after the dips so not as impressed with the service so far. In fact, this was one of the worst waiters I have had in this city. She forgot to put our drinks in, then forgot to add our protien to the dips we ordered, then forgot to put our entress in, and the entire dining experience took way longer than it needed to. You know, we are all humans and we make mistakes however as a server your job is to remember. The lamb sausage was ok, it's grounded and has a decent kick but the flavor profile is more taco bell than Ruth Chris. I would recommend the lamb sausage at Luogo over this place. The chicken Schwarma would be amazing in slightly larger juicier pieces. The diced chicken takes away from the flavor and isn't as tender and juicy as it would be thinly sliced or chopped. The overall ambience is terrific and a great spot to go on a date night. You will 100% need a reservation, and if you are local, this can easily become a staple for you with their constantly rotating and changing menu. This restaurant takes allergies and aversion more seriously than just about everyone except black tap. We also ordered avocado crispy rice which was the best dish I tried. Crispy, refreshing, savory and well dressed. It feels clean as your body breaks it down without sacrificing and ounce of character and flavor. Also got the shakshuka, which is like an Indian breakfast curry with eggs. I'm not a big egg guy, but this dish would absolutely crush in the fall and winter. It's a bit incentive to put it on your summer menu tho. Also got a side of bacon(undercooked) and a side of eggs(overcooked) . The recipes are fantastic but the execution was lacking on this visit. I will suggest going on a busier night and making a reservation so you can get the best of what butcher and bee has to offer.
For as long as I can remember, it’s difficult to get a reservation to butcher and bee. Especially last minute. And honestly that’s a great sign for a restaurant.
The food is solid, and you’ll probably try something you haven’t had. I didn’t get photos of everything from this trip because honestly we gobbled it up too quickly.
The whipped feta is a treasure. Just get it.
The meatballs are… just okay. A little spicy and mostly just taste like chili seasoning.
The smoke steak (pictured) is really freaking good. Also whatever is on this potatoes I really want in a jar.
The baklava ice cream is just… chefs kiss.
Our service was some of the best in nashville. Disclaimer: the last time I was here I encountered a very rude hostess. Her attitude literally caused me to turn and leave the restaurant. She brought the “LA super exclusive” sort of vibe that did not pass the check.
Go here and enjoy it. Also, if def isn’t cheap but it’s not the continental.
The best cocktail and food I have had in Nashville so far! The whipped feta and wood fired pita were the perfect start. The avocado crispy rice had amazing flavor and texture. I would definitely eat there again.
Did the chef’s choice for 2 here and was not disappointed!
Dishes listed under captions. Forgot to take the pic of the last dish which was stellar! Huge piece of deliciously fried chicken.
A well rusted selection of absolutely delicious things. So much food for the price!
Great cocktails and absolutely fabulous staff.
5x2= 10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ my sister & I are on a road trip & I googled best restaurants in Tennessee and Butcher & Bee came up. Our waiter Phillip was awesome. We looked at the menu & saw that it was still brunch & we addressed our concerns & he was able to recommend dishes for us both that we absolutely loved!!! The Hummus!!! My goodness was soooo freaking good!!! I don’t even want it from anywhere else. The dish I had was lamb & beef chopped like a cheesesteak but, unlike any other cheesesteak I’ve ever tasted. Oh, and they had my Uncle Nearest too!!! So yeah I am in complete awe of this place!!
I can’t say it enough….. this was not just dinner, it was a dining EXPERIENCE. Our party of 4 did the chef’s choice style dinner and got to try so many delicious dishes. I forgot to take pictures of everything because it was all so delicious. My items of special note…ginger gimlet, feta and cream cheese dip, hummus with bread, bacon wrapped dates, falafel, baklava, chocolate and ice cream dessert. Ally made it a special experience and all staff members who brought items to our table were so nice and expertly explained what they were bringing us. Make a reservation a few weeks ahead so you are sure to get in at the date and time you desire. We were so happy we found Butcher and Bee on our vacation to Nashville.
We went for brunch. I got the pomegranate mimosa which was good. The whipped feta dip is good as well. The avocado 🥑 rice 🍚 was amazing. Highly recommend 👌
I recently had brunch at a popular spot, and I have to say, it was an impressive experience. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Despite the restaurant being busy, we were able to find seating without any problems. In fact, we had the option to sit upstairs or outside, which was a nice touch. It was clear that the restaurant had put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for their guests.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for brunch to anyone who enjoys fantastic food, outstanding service, and a welcoming ambiance. Whether you prefer indoor, outdoor, or upstairs seating, this place has something for everyone. You won't be disappointed!
