Hands-down the best tacos in Nashville, and at a reasonable price too (no disrespect to the local taco trucks which are also excellent and cheap). Forget the gourmet Mexican restaurants with fancy bars and overpriced precious tacos. You want straight-up good food, go to Mas Tacos, bring cash, and don’t let the long line dissuade you. It’s worth it.

Simply amazing! Quick services with amazing food! I had two tacos (fried tilapia and chicken) and both were insanely good! Also for my side I had the Elote it was so good and by the way they do remove it off the cob for those who don’t want to get down and messy! First time trying Horchata, and it’s so good! Definitely recommend this place for all locals and tourists!
So amazing!! My favorite place to eat when in Nashville. Tacos are point but there sides are also to die for!! Now I’m craving it!!!
About our 5-6th time. Never a let down. Tortilla soup is awesome. The fried avocado taco is the best. Now with the bar it’s even better. Wish we had this food in Greenville SC.
Best tacos ever!!!! The street corn is loaded with tons of cheese and their hibiscus iced tea is a must try. It’s a great refreshing drink if you don’t want an alcoholic beverage from the bar.
Great, hands down the best taco place around

First visit and will certainly come back. The Cuban style beef taco was excellent as were the black beans. Very flavorful and fresh.
Best food on the planet!! I ❤️ Mas Tacos! The pork tacos are the best!
I was skeptical of all the good reviews for this place, seemed too good to be true. Nope - they're amazing!! I gobbled up every bite and immediately was sad it was gone 😂 tilapia and pork were equally delicious, as we're the black beans and the corn. This place is heaven-sent!
Small and cozy and definitely a must try.
I’ve been here twice and both times have been phenomenal. Food comes out pretty fast. Drinks are pretty good. The fish taco sweet plantains, and elote are phenomenal. Prices are just right coming in about 3 to 4 dollars an item making a decent stop for a couple of drinks and a nice night out.
Saturday special chilaqueles is absolutely delicious. Great mix and every bite fleas flavorful and great texture.
I waited and I'm glad I did! They say good things are worth the wait! Delicious tacos, I had the pork and chicken, so succulent and tasty! Paired with a couple of Dos Perros beer! Sister had the corn to keep it even more original
Hands down, my favorite taco joint in Nashville. I’ve sampled quite a bit of their menu over the years, and it has never let me down! My favorite is the elote. It is spicy, but so yummy!!
Well well well what to say…. Fantastic amazingly authentic good food is a start.
I had soup ,pork tacos street corn and a margarita. The Chicken tortilla soup was one of the best I have ever had. Pork was prepared just right, tender and moist with lots of flavor.
This was truly experiential. The 1950s music the vibe reminds me of every little restaurant I have been in traveling in Costa Rica. I highly recommend and advise you to be patient as there is always a line.
I live 2 hours away but every time we visit Nashville, we make Mas Tacos a priority stop. I always get the avocado taco, elote, plantains, and the spicy carne taco. It’s absolutely DELICIOUS!! It’s my favorite restaurant of all time and i can’t leave Nashville without going there!
Love this place. Heads up for fellow vegans or dairy-sensitive folks: the batter for the fried avocado tacos and the hot sauce both have milk powder in it. My go-to is the quinoa + sweet potato taco without sour cream, add pickled veggies.
Tough to find a more authentic taco shop. Love the atmosphere, very small shop with interesting decor. I really like the chicken taco, tortilla soup and sweet plantains. I havent had their juices but hear good things! A must try if you're in the area, just make sure you have cash.
It is amazing. Tacos had so much flavor. The horchata and limeade are unreal. They take card and Apple Pay. I’m from Utah, but will be back soon to come eat here .
Skillet Chicken Tacos. Pretty delicious. Had great flavor
Elote as a side, was overall good but personally wasn't a fan of the cheese.
Horchata was also delicious.
They weren't busy at all and service was pretty good.
Watch out for the cactus around the patio, I may or may not have scratched myself on one lol.
Absolutely LOVE this local gem. I'll begin with my affection for the fried avocado tacos. I have been in love with these from the original food truck days. I mean seriously, I would seek them out & track their location to get my fix. Fastfarward to now- I can stop in this awesome location at anytime & partake in the absolute deliciousness offered here
The fried avocado tacos with shaved cabbage onion & dill yogurt sauce are served on warm, fresh corn tortillas & topped with fresh cilantro... it's pretty much a party in your mouth. I haven't even mentioned the incredible street corn or the fresh margaritas. I hesitate writing this only because the lines are already long, but so worth the wait.
My first time eating at Mas Tacos and I was highly impressed. The wait was worthwhile, while you stand on line for someone to take your order through the window. Make sure you grab a menu so you are ready to order when is your turn. I noticed patrons are waiting longer in the line to order because most people don't think of grabbing a menu to know what they want before is their turn to order. So please take the initiative to do so. If the weather permits you can seat outside, if not after you order at the outside window, then, you go inside and your name will be call over the speaker. Then, you go up to the high counter, grab your order, get the napkins on the right side of the high counter and choose a comfortable area to enjoy your food. The bathroom sign is written in spanish EL VAÑO. They have an antique music box and few other pieces that goes way back in history. The parking can be tricky, so get there with extra time to find a good parking spot. They have a bar inside. The inside sitting chairs are kinda small or the table are not too big but okay for a group to eat very close to each other. In overall it was a wrap to enjoy their food. I ordered quinoa potato taco, fried avocado taco and the roasted street corn loaded with spices. It reminded me of my trips to Mexico and also from back home growing up in the Caribbean. I highly recommend. It's family friendly and they also playing music. Please follow and relate my postings. I appreciate your time. Have a blessed day.
Small and mighty
Mas Tacos is small, and their tacos maybe small but WOW! They are filled with so much flavor. I personally loved my chicken taco and especially the corn! Come join!
Buddy ‘Dre said he used to work here and it’s the best tacos around. Finally got in to Nashville to give them a try and he wasn’t lying!
Excellent all the way around! Try the soups and the avocado taco was bangin!
This was our last diners drive-ins and dives place to eat. Very little seating so be prepared to go back to your car to probably eat. The service was less than friendly. But the food was good make sure you ask for red and green sauce because they will not give it to you automatically. The corn was excellent.
A small and simple set up but one I highly recommend!
The line tends to get long, so come early! Pull up the menu on your phone so you know your order as soon as you get to the counter, order and pay, then hear your name called and get your tray of treats!
I recommend the fried avocado taco! The watermelon margarita was strong and delicious! The black beans were kinda spicy but I still enjoyed them and the plantains that sat atop, which also absorbed some spice.
The outdoor seating area is super cute and I would recommend grabbing a table there, but this food also wouldn’t be hard to take to go!
