Review Udupi Indian Restaurant - Nashua

I went here for the buffet a few weeks ago and had an overall great experience. The worker who was dealing with us was very kind, appreciative and informative if you asked what something was. However the term spicy Is subjective and their definition is quite different than mine. However I initially got too much sauce, which was over powering cause of the combination of spices. When eaten with the right amounts of each option it provides a pretty good experience. They also had a unique fruit salad desert which was pretty good. Overall the price wasn't bad for the options, though I wish they had a more mild sauce. Other than that the service was great.

I was looking for a vegan place to eat and this place popped up on google maps, since I love indian food, why not? I was pleased with the food, although I think they should have more variety, like some certain dishes with chick peas and potatoes and spinach, however what they had was delicious and the waiter was very friendly, I will go there again whenever I am in the area.

I've been to Indian restaurants all over New England and this is by far the best Indian food I've ever had! Everything I ordered was perfectly cooked and spiced. The flavors were excellent. I was pleased to have so many vegan options to choose from, and that the vegan options were clearly identified on the menu so I didn't have to guess or ask. The only slight negative was that the rice tasted smoky, like some of it had burned at the bottom of the pan. I forgive that because I can tell the rice would have tasted great otherwise. I visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon, so the cooks may have been rushed and didn't notice. It won't stop me from visiting again, though. This was my first visit and will definitely not be my last. The staff was friendly and polite, the wait wasn't too long, and the prices were good. A must- visit for any fan of Indian food in the area.

This place is fantastic. I love all of the vegetarian options and each dish is absolutely delicious. The Gobi Manchurian is one of my favorite dishes--we get it every time! The best part though, by far, is the staff. They are always checking in to make sure your food is great, they make suggestions of what you may like, and they are friendly and efficient. The excellent food, paired with the customer service, makes this a great destination!

I have been ordering the food from here for a while for my daughter. She really loves their vegetarian options. Their service has been exceptional!!! Very polite and courteous people. NO complaints at all. I order the food on a weekly basis. Next time I am in Nashua I will make a special trip to this place to thank the people in person!!!

I can only speak for vegan options: The food is good, it's the best South Indian in the area right now. The food comes out pretty mild, even if I order spicy, but theres enough flavor to make up for it so I continue going back. I've never had problems with service or sanitation like these other posts claim.

Been going for three plus years. Used to be really Good Vegetarian Restaurant. Then they started Non Veg in 2017, which was also very good. But now have been observing in past three months that food (veg or non-veg) has become inconsistent in preparation. We ordered few dishes recently and we liked it. Then we again ordered it again after a couple of weeks, same dish was totally the opposite. Especially, if you are taking food out, then the food is at its worst. Once they missed one of my dish I ordered for pick up. And two times after that, the food we took out was prepared extremely spicy and oily, inspite of giving clear instructions that food should not be very spicy. We literally had to throw food out which makes it feel like waste of money and time here. The restaurant has lost its awesome reputation in my eyes now. I now dont feel like eating there at all. I need to search for another good Indian Restaurant in Nashua, NH.

Not at all consistent. The first time we went we liked the food very much so we ordered the same food the second time and it was so bad. Looks like they have different chefs working on different days. So if you are lucky you will get good food. Not the best Indian restaurant around and definitely not matching the standards of a genuine "Udupi" restaurant. If you are really craving for Indian food and have no other option come here else find something else!!
