Great executive course to play for cheap. The guys in the pro shop are phenomenal and very helpful. We came here on a budget and enjoyed the course. Overall kept well but not the same as the other courses around the area. I would play again for the price and the challenging course.

I used to work at the course and also play there. It's a par 60 and very challenging. Greens are quite small and great if you want to work on your iron play. Well maintained and very affordable. I would highly recommend the course!

Great course to play. Excellent condition . But getting rather crowded since the other public Par 3 closed.

John took great care of us and even went out of his way to recommend a great place for lunch. Really loved the experience and John's friendliness.

It's a little dry at the moment, but it's a good track for a very quick 9 or 18. We played 9 in under an hour as a twosome. Friendly staff.

Decent golf course for 9 holes. you can finish playing in 80 mins so if you work from home and take a long lunch break, you can do 9 holes. not bad deal at all.

Hmmm, mixed thoughts here. Here's the good: The lady in the clubhouse was great. Very friendly. The pace of play was fabulously fast. We played 18 in 2 hours and 20 minutes. There are some good holes and all the water makes it quite pretty. There is some nice landscaping around that makes the place attractive. The price to play was wonderfully inexpensive. This is affordable golf!
The bad: Too many of the par 3's are nearly the exact same length! All right around 130 yards. There lots of wasted acreage out there. The course could use a redesign. It feels too tight to the houses. They must fet pelted all the time! The greens were in rough shape. To be fair, they were recently aerated. They rolled ok, but were rough. Some of the green shapes are a little ridiculous. There's at least 3 "figure 8" greens. That's not real golf. So the course itself needs work.
So, for the price, its ok. But we heard it's for sale and not getting a lot of play or membership in recent years. Hopefully some knight in shining armour comes in with deep pockets and renovates what could be a great little layout with some forethought.

Lakewood is a great "doable" golf course for beginners, intermediate, and older golfers. We love to play here when we're in Naples. Weekends are quiet and discounted. Easily walked if you prefer not to ride - we enjoy walking the course. Unfortunately, the clubhouse is now closed so no after golf beer or bite to eat. Other than that - a great little course
