Small, hole-in-the-wall place with excellent pizza and Stromboli! A tad pricey, but I think the pizza is worth it! Saw some of the other pizza reviews, but I like a NY style slice!

We stopped for dinner at Altavilla as it was recommended by an Italian restaurant owner. What a hidden gem of a restaurant in Naples! We ordered two different dinner specials and were treated to fresh, flavorful, memorable meals in the homemade burrata cheese salad and prosciutto stuffed veal in porcini cream sauce. Service was excellent as Jeannine attentively offered menu descriptions and assistance, paced the arrival of courses, and offered genuine hospitality. The dessert selection mimicked the fresh, homemade, attentive to detail quality of the entrees. Very much look forward to our next dining experience at Altavilla.

The Pizza, along with many of their other food choices have been excellent. I personally enjoy their spaghetti carbonara when I visit the sit down side of the restaurant.
Ordering has been a challenge sometimes, missing an item or two, but they are quick to correct it, hence my 4-star on that category.

Best pizza in Naples. My husband and I just moved here recently and tried a few other places around that were honestly horrible… I’m gonna admit our standards are pretty high for Italian food because we are Italian and we hail from NY/NJ pizza capital of the country. This pizza competes with the best pizzeria in our old neighborhood back home. We will only be ordering pizza from Altavilla going forward.

Great place for a quick bite and they also have pizza by the slice. It’s a nice big piece bigger then your head. Staff was very nice and polite. Place could of been cleaner but that didn’t bother me. Just saying. Over all pizza was good. I’d give it a 7. I’ll be back again not to many place do pizza by the slice. Oh did mention the 30” PIZZAAAAA It’s huge!!!!

The best authentic Italian around! The tomatoes on our bruschetta tasted like they were just picked fresh from the garden. If you're lucky enough to go on a night when they have the veal chop on special, be sure to get it! The service is top-notch - the owner even came to our table and brought us a plate of cannolis after our meal. Highly recommend Altavilla!!
