Non traditional is the best description I can come up with...limited menu done very well, but pastrami here is uniquely prepared and seasoned. There is a continuous line for lunch at the counter service restaurant and they only take cash.
Sides are stars here, try the coleslaw and potato salad...everything is made fresh in house.

Pastrami was excellent - we ordered on Toasted rye with mustard. So good you can’t just take one bite.
So addicting - great flavor mix.
We also got a Taco.
Another great choice.
Taco was Huge. Crispy soft tortilla with fried cheese.

This is a must eat at when in Naples. Especially if you like pastrami even a little bit. We get ours “New York style” with Russian dressing, Swiss, and Cole slaw. Get a Dr. brown’s to make your lunch complete. Cash only.

Stopped at Pastrami Dan's for the first time today for lunch. I was with my wife, we weren't terribly hungry, so decided to split a pastrami on rye. I had read some reviews online, so was a bit unsure of what I'd discover. The person complaining about the "Fatstrami" in their review either got something entirely different from us, or they don't understand that marbling in meat equals flavor! Our hot pastrami on rye was great. Great spicing, nice and moist, not overcooked. I started conversing with the owner, talked with him a bit about online reviews, and he remarked they take them all seriously. I jokingly told him we didn't care for the pastrami, then laughed as I handed him our baskets picked clean of any remnants! He laughed then told his mom working the line we didn't like it, to which she spun around to face him as he cracked a big smile and laughed! She remarked how he shouldn't give her such a scare. These people care, and seem like they will do anything within their power, if what you get isn't perfect. They wanted to make sure we tried the roast beef, so gave us a little on a plate along with some gravy... it was pink, moist and tasted great. The prices aren't cheap, but they are making quality pastrami and roast beef. I'll definitely be back to this lovely locally owned business staffed with people who care!

This place is great. Old school, family run and delicious sandwiches. The only negative is it’s a CASH only restaurant and I can tell you they LOSE a lot of revenue doing this. I can think of 10 times I chose another place down the street because I didn’t have cash on me. Get with the times man. Accepting credit/debit cards is simply a cost of doing business and a courtesy to your customers.

After 20+ ears of our foursome visiting this place monthly, we now have stopped and are going elsewhere. I retract what I said below...gristle in the meat on the past two occasions...the high price for outstanding quality is no longer a good value.
Pastrami in a crisp roll with mustard and a pickle. This is the single best restaurant sandwich in SW Florida. I tried the roast beef sandwich once and it, too, is a world-class sandwich.

Dan. Vern Reed here. I was a regular happy customer years ago, left Naples for Arizona a decade ago. Am currently vacationing in Crecent City California, and noticed a deli that had high reviews on their pastrami. Had to give it a try, but the over the top excellence of yours is still firmly imprinted in my memory, so although good, theirs didn't even qualify an honerable mention-compared to yours.

I am from the Philly/New York area and I must say I have NEVER had a Pastrami sandwich served on a hoagie roll???? The Pastrami was very good but on a hoagie roll??? ! For me when you say Pastrami sandwich its a pile high on rye bread or Pumpernickel or even white! . ! Sorry maybe my Up North is showing !

Every year we come down to Naples from Chicago and have to stop here. Everything on the menu is wonderful, but the Pastrami is out of this world. The service is always wonderful and quick. Great place for a quick bite to eat.
