We've been coming to pelican bend since my grandparents first bought on Marco Island in the early 90s. Their signature sautéed fish is the best seafood dish I've ever had. Absolutely worth any wait you might have during busy times. We make sure we eat dinner here at least twice when we vacation, sometimes three times depending on how long we stay. Oh and the key lime pie is also to die for!! A must try!!
Went to lunch there on recommendations from friends celebrating my Dad's 94th BD. The food was delicious, lobster roll was huge, no end to the fresh lobster, clams on half shell, best chowder ever. There were 5 of us and everyone loved their seafood. Clams, fish & shrimp were great. One of the nicest servers ever, Katie! Great service and so sweet to my Dad. She said his meal was on the house for his service in WWII and his BD. Very special Dsy for all of us! We will definitely return hopefully several times before going back to Elkhart IN in April.
Great place right on the water, good food great prices. Nice service. Live music with a sunset view.... Just perfect. Plenty of parking
I absolutely love this place. We always get Captain Birdie’s chowder, a wedge salad with creamy garlic dressing and the sautéed catch of the day. It is a hidden gem❤️
It’s a cozy and laid-back eatery that offers up some of the freshest and most flavorful seafood. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Good variety of bar drinks with water side views. Can even dock your boat to come for a meal. Be ware there can be many mosquitos at night so wear bug spray! Fish platter was great!
Great place for a sunset dinner or lunch on the water. The food is delicious.
Great spot for dinner by the water and a good location for sunsets. Food was excellent, staff was friendly, and service was pretty good considering how busy they were. Do not pass up on their key lime pie….it is very different than any that I’ve ever had.

Everything was good. The lobster sandwich was especially good. It was quiet at lunchtime. Not too many people.

2nd visit and FOOD is GREAT!
We had shrimp scampi, prime rib and the sautéed grouper along with side salad wedges (too much dressing), great Cole slaw (not wet or vinegary), baked potatoes (one was cold) and the appetizer was a blooming onion - perfectly done!!!! PERFECT!!
Crystal greeted us and took our order! She is so sweet, cheerful, very genuine (great eye contact) and she really cares!
The wait for our meals was long then Crystal shared that the Prime rib order would have to be medium instead of medium-rare. 🤔 bummer.
Overall service was FANTASTIC, food was exceptionally done - best flavor overall!!
I would have done 5 out of 5 stars, but the wait was a too long as we’d seen other tables (parties of 4) getting served dinners before us even after they arrived after us. ☹️😢. In their defense it was PACKED room to room and even outside seating! We would have loved outside seating, but it was full and too long a wait. Maybe next visit… YES, we’ll return and it is definitely top on our list of taking all our visitors!!
Hopefully, next visit I can pick up a shirt ($24)because they are very well done with a great selection of colors and the logo was extremely well done with color choices and style (love the ultra brights!).

Haven't been there is ages. Nice remodeling after hurricane. I had soft shell crabs for the first time. They were good except perhaps too much butter. The wedge salads were good. Desserts were good and reasonably priced. Cocktails were good, but pricey.
Good food by the water and more reasonable than the place next door. Service was lacking. Sweet gal but very unattentive and overcharged one sandwich by $2. May or may not return.
Had a very pleasant lunch, with water views, nice breeze and a good lunch menu. We chose two baskets, cheeseburger with a generous side of French fries and a fish and oysters. It was quiet, clean and good service. Worth trying.
