Michaelbobs is the best ribs in the area. While they are a small size and small portion of meat, the taste, flavor, tenderness, and texture are all 100% so so so good. The ribs are a star item, but the food is good no matter the main course or side item. Atmosphere is also great. Parking is a little tight but always adequate

Happened to stop in on Tuesday, they have a baby back rib special. Great deal for lots of tasty food. The beans were especially good. Ribs were good too, not sure if I would say best in America like the sign says but, very good!

I am from Miami, if I could I would drive up here every week for this old American traditional BBQ joint .it has spectacular 60’s İnterior with lots of oldies that you don’t even find at antic shops anymore. Service and stuff are super nice and down to earth . I went on happy hour but I can not imagine this place turns into long waiting and jam pack on regular hours.
BBQ must try , full rack , also their angus beef combo is price killer.. thee is no way you can get the deal even you buy the rod meet. I particularly liked their own , house made BBQ sauces. Also try apple pie . It is not available all the time they said , I guess I was lucky .. SUPER NICE OLD , REAL BBQ PLACE …

Love love love this place. The atmosphere is fun, there’s great service, and delicious food. The ribs are wonderful and the onion rings are a must.
The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because the sliced beef was terrible. It is so unfortunate because everything else was awesome. The beef was just not even edible …even after drenching it in the sauce. I should have took a pic prior to putting sauce on it. It was so dried out it was starting to feel and look like old leather shoes. I am shocked they even served it. I’m not sure if that’s a normal thing but I would go back and steer clear of the sliced beef.
Again I still love this place and highly recommend it!

Michelbob’s Ribs Restaurant was a fun stop after our soccer tournament in Naples. They can handle large parties (ours was 30-adults and kids) and they handled us all outside easily.
We had one server who was assigned to us, he did a great job! All the waitstaff were very nice. The inside and outside seating was comfortable, the bathrooms were surprisingly nice. Plenty of free parking.
The food was good, especially the ribs, they were outstanding!! The grilled BBQ chicken was really good, the pulled pork was a bit dry on some plates and too moist on others, but the flavor was there. The milkshakes were great and the desserts were brownies with ice cream and veeeery good. When in Naples go by and see them. 👍

Stopped in for lunch, absolutely delicious food. My wife and I split a platter that had baby back ribs chicken and pulled pork. Plenty of food for the two of us and that was prepared and tasted excellent. Love the different barbecue sauces that are available each one of them was unique and tasty in their own way. We'll be back for dinner. If you haven't eating here before I highly recommend it.

Our waitress came to the table yawning, and was absent most of the night. She even came by once and said "I bet you think I'm ignoring you"
Aside from that most of the food was excellent, I especially enjoyed my Cowboy steak. One of our two racks of ribs however was petrified.

The food was good but not the best in America (ribs). Had about a thirty minute wait for a table. Waitress very good explained everything ,answered all questions. Food took about twenty-five minutes to get. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. Ambiance is nice, like a BBQ place should be.

Lives up to the hyperbole that surrounds it. I've never had better ribs. The onion rings were about as good as they get: crispy, flavorfully breaded, fresh, and the onions weren't overcooked.
I had their imported ribs and the seasoning, cook, and tenderness were all top notch. My wife had one of the lunch combos with a half rack of baby back and a cheddar and jalapeno sausage.
Service was swift, friendly, and well-informed about all aspects of the menu. Ours was with it enough to steer us away from an oversized portion of onion rings that may have kept us from fully enjoying lunch. The taster portion was sufficient for two people with entrees on the way, although they offered two larger sizes for bigger groups.
Expect an informal standard country BBQ establishment ambience. It's comfortable, but you'll be fine in shorts and a t-shirt.

Excellent! Definitely lives up to all the reviews. I love BBQ so I have tried many restaurants. This place is great! Everything was delicious. I recommend the pulled pork and baby back ribs. Fall of the bone tender and full of flavor. There bold and spicy sauce is on point.

Came here with my mom and I will say their ribs and sauces are really good. Very delicious and satisfying. Portions are great, waitress was witty sincere and accommodating. I only gave it 4 stars since my moms roast beef was really bland. But my steak was great and the sides were all good. I will definitely be back.

Excellent overall! This place has a glowing reputation so I was looking forward to testing it out. Michelbob's did not disappoint. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the sliced pork with two sides and it was absolutely a ton of hot and good tasting food. Highly recommend.

My son and I had a full rack of ribs each and they were excellent! Falling off the bone! Wife had the New York strip and said it was one the best steaks she's had! Also had baked beans, great flavor! Highly recommend!

We sat at the small bar because bartenders are usually attentive and very interesting, and Bob didn't disappoint! He kept us entertained with stories of his travels while helping us chose our food. We both had the ribs and they were juicy and delicious. All the sides were very good, cole slaw, potato salad, baked potato, everything was delicious. We will definitely go back, this place has character and great food at affordable prices!

I took my son and four grandchildren to eat and celebrate my birthday with another couple and their two grandchildren visiting from out of state. It was a perfect place for the ten of us to eat with the children loving their dinners and the adults feasting on steaks and ribs and pork sandwiches that were fantastic. Even with ten people we were quickly seated in a couple of minutes at a table for ten that was comfortable and made for a great dining experience. The food is great and the servings are filling making it a very enjoyable evening.

"Meh" at best...no waters were brought to the table after asking twice.
Bloody Mary was not good, no garnishes just a piece of bacon blended into the mix. Mmm, soggy straw clogging bacon.
Salad was huge and crisp but lacked garden additions (like cucumber, onions etc) chicken tenders were good.
Husband got the wings, he said they were good.

They have the best ribs and onion rings. I order their ribs online when I’m craving them and can’t get to Florida. They claim they are the best ribs in America but actually they are the best ribs on the planet. Get the ribs, you won’t be disappointed.

As a devote Michelbob's fan and customer, I must say that the quality has gone down through the years. I remember as a kid coming here with family and friends every time we came to Naples on vacation. What a beautiful city. Going to Michelbob's was tradition. We spent hours waiting for a seat to have the ribs through the 1990s. Their breakfast brunch was EPIC as well. The best I ever had to this day. Ribs were fall off the bone and the sauce was perfect - so amazing. The last time I was there was 2006, it wasn't a great experience. I sure hope things changed! I will be back, hopefully sooner than later. I still give it 5 stars as its a iconic rib joint with an amazing history.

When we first walked in the hostess had an attitude and we should have know to walk back out then. We were seated right away and our waitress while nice acted like she didn't have it all together. My food was good and several others in my party said the same however my Mom ordered a steak medium well and it came out so dry and tough like leather that she had to send it back. They brought her another steak and this time it was dripping in blood then by the 3rd time they brought it back everyone else was finished eating. I asked the waitress if they were going to take at least half off her dinner and she said no because they made her another steak. Real disappointment.
