I was out with my bf for his birthday with our friends and it seemed like a chill spot. The staff was friendly so no complaints there. My one star goes to the DJ. I get it most places want the DJ to play top 40 but his selection was truly not it. I was so bored throughout the night. Some might agree that a DJ who steers the night with premium bops pushes you to buy more drinks and all i had that night was 1. I could tell we weren’t the only ones displeased when i noticed the faces of the people around us throughout the night. Hopefully this DJ never plays there again.

The food tasted good and the margaritas were even better. However, the guacamole was cold and looked old though that could be because it was most likely refrigerated, but still tasted ok. The reason for less stars is my sister and I both got food poisoning since we both had the Chicken Enchiladas then both proceeded to spend the night in the bathroom. Our one friend and my fiance are tacos and we're both fine. The service was quick, which is usually good but in this case I think too quick.

Came here years ago and it was phenomenal however my recent visit here was absolutely terrible! Ordered a twisted mango margarita and it was pure mango syrup and no hint of tequila. The homemade poppers were fried to a crisp and those table chips oooh weee super hard! I surely hope this is only a temporary setback and things get better.

Potter's Place has been one of my favorites for 20 years. I have moved out of state and on a visit home had to stop in for a visit. My old time standard favorite is the Christmas Tree. I say it's always a fantastic safe bet. The service is always fast, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere at lunch is relaxed and laid back for downtown Naperville. The summer and night feel is a bit different. There is a beautiful patio out back for eating and drinking and a great bar. I highly recommend a trip to one of the best Naperville staples over the past thirty years. If you haven't stopped in....give Potter's Place a try. It is worth it.

Chips and salsa were good. Service was good. Pitcher's of Cadillac Margaritas had too much ice, too little tequila, a bit too sweet, and therefore not a great deal. Steak fajitas were so-so. I wasn't paying for this meal.

Very cute place to be a part of. Love the outdoor option and the decor they did. They had some great deals for food and drink as well. It was a much needed night out with friends!

This place went down. I came here a while ago and sat outside when a band was playing and it was such a great time. Food was good and all…but coming here recently it changed. It seemed as if a band was coming to set up then they decided to take it back down and leave. Maybe there wasn’t enough people there? The food was not good. The rice was not cooked and the waitress instead of making it right said that it’s fried rice. Was I at the wrong restaurant? It obviously wasn’t cooked all the way. She seemed like she didn’t care so I won’t be back.

I'd give them 0 if allowed.....we just walked in for a drink and the bartender shut us off and said water only, you're drunk before even talking to us. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to visiting cuz last time in town, they were closed for covid Edited to add: I don't usually give bad reviews on here. That said, after the condescending reply from the owner, we weren't being loud and we weren't drunk. We took an uber downtown for a few evening drinks to start our visit in town. The bartender was rude and we only made it two steps in the door before he refused service without even saying hello to us. We found a couple other places in town that were happy to have us and made us feel very welcomed.
