Just had our first experience at Shinto and were blown away with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. They accommodated our request to sit outside, were seated and greeted by friendly staff, had an exceptional waiter named Mike that was very honest about his recommendations on the menu, and had terrific exchanges with everyone that served us. We only had sushi this time around on our anniversary and are looking forward to trying hibachi the next time we are here.
Our new favorite place for sushi! Pass all others by between Joliet and Naperville... this place wins hands down for quality, quantity and atmosphere!!
Went to celebrate our girls report cards. The waiter Went out of his way to my girls feel really special. The hibachi chef, Johnny Bravo, kept the girls thoroughly entertained and feeling on top of the world! The staff created such a great atmosphere not only for my girls, but even my husband and I felt completely catered to! Food was delicious, and sevice was pretty prompt. Thank you for making a special celebration extremely memorable

This is my favorite sushi restaurant! Can't beat their 1/2 price sushi Mondays! They also have really good hibachi. Last time we were there Adrian was our server and he was superb.

We had the most enjoyable time here and the food was out of this world! Both our chef (didn’t catch his name, wish I would’ve) and our waiter Michael were pleasant, genuine, polite, and hilarious!
We went out on a busy Saturday night and our server, Mike, gave us the heads up that the kitchen was just a little behind. We wouldn't even have noticed, as everything came out perfectly and in a timely manner, but it was just part of the great and thoughtful service that he let us know what to expect. We have visited several times and are always pleased. Thanks!
