Everytime I visit back home Portillos is a must visit. The service the atmosphere the staff and the food are always great. I only request you would invest a Portillo's in Albuquerque New Mexico or Santa Fe New Mexico please consider
Good food served fast. Really enjoyed it ! Had a beef sausage Combination that was out of this world .Pam really enjoyed her chili dog .Don't forget the lemon cake!
Fast and friendly service! I got the Big Italian Beef sandwich with hot giardinera, juicy with large fries. Excellent. Among the very best I have had in Chicago. Quality is consistent! A definite “go to” whenever I am in town!!
Portillo’s is delicious every time I visit Chicago. The one at the airport a few years back was fantastic, the chili dog was great, and the building was super authentic looking. The only knock on this one is the building doesn’t have as much cool stuff in it, but nonetheless, delicious and quick!
I'm an out of towner. It was very delicious. I had ordered mine to go, with a group of people. Walk in. It didn't even make it out the door. I crushed it before my other friend's had even got their order's. Almost ordered another. The Italian Beef is amazing. Loved it.
Took several Portillo’s rookies from out of town to the Naperville on Ogden location to enjoy the experience and they weren’t disappointed. Great food, great service and Albert surprised us with a chocolate cake to say thanks for bringing in the newbies. They will be requesting a Portillo’s Run next time they’re back in town.

I came from Houston, Texas and I was told it should be my first meal in Illinois. It should have been my last because now the bar has been set so high, no other place has come close to the bar! Plus, Tina and Linda went out of their way to make me feel welcome once they found out it was my first time there. I expect that kind of hospitality in Texas, but I wasn't expecting it there. They were super sweet, and I plan on going back a few more times while I am visiting. Thank you, and loved everything I tried.

Place was clean. Plenty of staff working to ensure service was quick. Food was pretty good. Good price. They just need to make sure they are checking orders before sending them out. They forgot one of my sandwiches but quickly rectified it when i brought it to their attention. I like the old time nostalgia feel of the dining room and all the old signs and signed pictures like you would see in a small local restaurant
High noon and busy AF why?! Because it is damn good and consistent. Come on by and enjoy most of what Chicagoland food has to offer in one location. Portillo’s restaurants are consistently a great dining experience, also the drive throughs are always fast. Get in here!!
My second visit to Chicago and Portillos. Love their beefs and the hot dogs are tasty! The atmosphere is awesome along with the old school Chicago decor.

Portillo’s is definitely my go-to spot forever. I cannot believe I am only writing this review for the restaurant just now after being able to eat here a lot of times, and with that time, the experience would always be great. This is such a cool place for something casual. Even though it is always full of customers, as in, it is not empty every time we come here to eat, the number of customers is always very high. No wonder the place is also a go-to spot for a lot of people, including me, is because Portillo’s has the best fast food, especially the hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. I definitely had no problems with my order each time I went to this spot, particularly in this location. The food is always fresh, warm, and it just tastes good; something that can definitely fulfill anyone’s cravings. The prices are fair and reasonable too. Aside from the delicious food they have, they also have great customer service, as in literally every employee I see inside seems to really enjoy their job, and some would even make sure that everything is fine, and the wait for the food would not take too much time, and it would always be really quick.
Busy restaurant but good food and we got great service from Gregory! He was very attentive and helpful. It was my family's first trip here. We got a delicious chocolate cake on the house bc it was our first time there. That's nice of them and a well worth stop we made. Their bread for the burger and hotdogs was soft and delicious. You can eat on its own. Should we ever come back to visit Illinois, We'll definitely check them out again!
