Inviting atmosphere, friendly bartenders, great craft beer selection, on tap and in cans, and incredible Italian cuisine. The rigatoni Bolognese was amazing. Overall, a great little restaurant that you need to experience for yourself.
This is an outstanding hometown restaurant to eat at. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. Excellent wings and pizza.
Went on a Saturday night. Place was crowded. Wanted seat in the bar area but only available table was in rear dining room. It was packed and loud. Food was decent . Service was ok. Very crowded. Staff did their best. W
Having grown up with this place in the 70s, I finally had a chance to see it post-renovation during a rare trip to Rockland. Save for the neon sign outside I never would have recognized it. Totally different inside, though they’ve kept some mementos (including a few hats from the bar).
Place was packed with a long line on a Saturday night, but we snagged seats at the bar. No more pitchers of Bud—now there are several microbrews. The bartenders were friendly and gracious. They’ve heard the stories a hundred times but are happy to listen.
While all of the food going by looked great (especially the sliders), we came 250 miles for pizza. No disappointment at all, as it was the same as ever. A bartender told us the same guy has been making the dough 20-something years.
Happy to see the Nanuet Restaurant thriving. Whenever we’re back that way we will return.
I ordered a plain pie, one with roni, and some mozz sticks. Very good thin style pizza, cheese is a bit salty, and pie like crust if that's your thing. Cup style pepperoni was very good, mozz sticks are as big as a deck of cards and a bit pricey at $14 for 5.
This place is always spot on! The food is great and the pizza is amazing...especially the vodka pie. They also have a good selection of beers. Definitely recommend!
