Review Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Nampa

This is the second time we've been to a Dickey's, and I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised each time. BBQ isn't my favorite type of food, but that's mostly because I'm not a fan of the sauce. At Dickey's the sauce is on the side, so each person can pick the type of sauce they want and how much they want. The meats have all been well seasoned and are very tender and juicy, so they are great without any sauce.

We stepped into Dickeys today while doing our social distancing shopping. We were warmly welcomed, with smiles and amazing personal service and meal suggestions. The food was incredible, large portions and very good prices. Highly recommend this business to those who crave the meats. Amazing BBQ

It was awesome! Also might I mention that it is nice to see food workers take their job seriously with pride. The dude that was working has awesome customer service skills and works hard. They also have new cups. LoL

I got brisket and ribs. The food was delicious, but portions are ridiculously small. And not cheap either. 12.50 for literally 2 rib bones and 2 small slices of brisket. And the brisket was cold. Better off getting takeout at Texas Roadhouse. It only gets a second star because the flavor was so good.

Meat was not warm but the waffle fries and okra was so we did not complain. They were friendly and not busy but the trash in the dining room was so full you had to push it down to put your trash in and honestly I could see in the prep area and it was filthy and hygiene poor. But to be fair it did taste great and they are friendly.

The last couple times I went I haven't gotten my whole order. Its ridiculous. So if you like not getting what you ordered or paid for, and getting treated with not great service then come here. Seriously, how hard is it to actually acknowledge the person you are handing food too. Also I ordered my pickup order for 1 pm, and they didn't even start it until after I got there. The employees seemed to be confused about the order. Makes sense as to me not getting my full order.

The barbeque is delicious, with three sauces to choose from: original, spicy and sweet. They offer beef, pork and sausage. The meat is smoked. Overall, it's all very tasty. They offer a variety of ways to order, whether it's a multi-meat plate or sandwich, individual or catered. The sides are good, too.

The food was ok, about what you would expect from the price point. I submitted my order to be delivered through their website. When it arrived it was missing 8 items. Multiple drinks, multiple sides, and a sandwich. I called them and they hesitantly agreed to deliver the missing items again. I strongly encourage anyone considering ordering from there to do it in person and avoid the online process which I think contributed greatly to this issue.
